Will having a higher metabolism (heavy cardio) increase or decrease MDMA effects?

I recently picked up running seriously (every other day) and have been eating healthy for the past 5 months, and haven't popped in exactly 3 months today. I was wondering will the effects of ecstasy (including the possible other drugs that it may be laced with) lower or raise?

Also, as a separate question, how much does abstaining from cigarettes and alcohol affect the effects of ecstasy?

Consuming certain foods helps stimulate the production of serotonin in the brain---and so does exercise. and since its been 3 months and if your pills are legit you should roll just fine and then some. just dont drink alcohol while your rolling.

Hey sulk welcome to bluelight,

You should invest in Reagent test kit, and also check out ecstasy data and pillreports, so that you dont consume chemicals other than mdma. I wouldn't want to take contaminated mdma.
Also, as a separate question, how much does abstaining from cigarettes and alcohol affect the effects of ecstasy?
Abstaining from alcohol will really change your experience, it should be more full on, more effective and should also be more enjoyable, you might find the 'comeup' a bit more anxious.

Mixing alcohol and mdma is a bad idea for your brain anyway, its a neurotoxic combo and it can really make you feel 'washed out' afterwards.

Not sure about the cigs though,

I didn't really notice a difference after I quit smoking. I used to smoke double when I was rolling though and my lungs would always feel like shit after so I guess that's a perk in some way\.

I did MDMA before I started exercising hard and then I started running and losing weight. For about a year and a half I've been running 6 to 8 miles 3 days a week and doing core body workouts 2 days a week. I never noticed any real improvement on rolls, but I'm pretty sure that rebuilding serotonin happens a bit faster, I don't get as bummed out for as long. It's also good to know that your heart can handle stimulants pretty well because you are in such good shape.

Thanks for the quick responses! Glad to know working out will add some benefits to the night life as well. And I feel you on the 'cigs while rolling' comment. They definitely become more difficult to resist.

So being generally healthy will increase serotonin reproduction, but there isn't any possibility of an increase in general effects like euphoria, etc?

I am incredibly skinny, and MDxx always hits me WAY before any of my friends. I am in biz in about 20 minutes, no joke, and it is not psychological, that's how everything hits me. Also, I descend into the plateau quicker than most of my friends, but I never say quit until much later in the night.

Another thing is when I eat food, I get hit with energy literally minutes later and am hungry all day. Either I have a 100lb tapeworm, or my metabolism is cracked out.

So either 100lb tapeworms or increased metabolism must shorten the amount of time it takes to start rolling.

And when it comes to tobacco, I found that organic hand-rolled tobacco is an excellent thing to smoke while rolling. It is an ancient prayer/meditation technique to smoke tobacco, and recent studies indicate that almost all of the adverse health effects attributed to smoking cigarettes stems from the pesticides, fertilizers, and additives, (and agent orange's own dioxin) not the actual smoking of the plant itself. There is exposure to tar, and combusting anything and inhaling the carbon monoxide laden smoke is bad for you, but most cancers are probably attributed to impurities.

I always link to Mike Adams articles, so just ignore me if you don't care about life and health.
