why once you awake a person from a ghb enduced sleep, they can be angry?

i have met several guys that awake or are awken from a ghb sleep, and they wake raging? why is this? i have experinced this on a couple occasions. any thoughts?
 
Well...because GHB inhibits dopamine release, and then possibly releases this stored dopamine I would not be surprised if it was caused by an increase in dopamine.

Dopamine has been linked to psychosis and releasing a large amount all at once into the brain could lead to a temporary psychosis in some users.

This is just a hypothesis.

I am glad to see a post on this, as it has happened to me many times. Takeing to much g falling asleep only to be awakened and being made at everything. Interesting hypothisis.
 
I just finished my G on monday night, I miss it - sigh.....
Ive never got angry after ive nodded out and been woken up, get your ma8e to blow some coke up your nose, then you wont be angry.
 
I agree with MattPD - I think this is also the reason why if you take a larger dose of GHB to help you sleep at night, you wake up about 4 hours later feeling revitalised and probably unable to get back to sleep due to the dopamine dump.

Dopamine Rebound...that's all there is to it. There's an interesting research paper regarding GBL's toxicity that mentions that male rats were prone to fighting each other due to dopamine-rebound induced aggresiveness.

Dopamine rebound aside, if you woke me up from a good natural sleep I'd be pretty pissed, unless there was a really good reason (like if a shit load of G had just arrived).
 
Yeah, i agree with Crimson, and MattPD. First of all, aren't you irked when someone wakes you up normally? This is increased by the dopamine rebound.

or lack thereof. The paper proved that it was completely non-toxic.


The paper was online but it was recently taken off the web. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy on my computer :(
 
Could be that they're bit of confused right after wakening up too, and how you woke them up. Imagine wakening up by someone who's sitting on your chest and slapping you in the face.
 
I hate the waking up in the middle of the night not being able to fall asleep thing, I usually wake up at about 5 am and go mad waiting till I can go do something usually this time is passed by smoking myself stupid...
 
i <3 GHB, and GBL............we have plenty here in indy.......sigh.......i wish i had money.....we get 7 doses for 20 bucks
 
lol I get a dose for less than 15 cents...Loon*E I strongly encourage you to buy your own off the net..
