I am literally losing patience here:X
Another moment ago I was reading and article saying how amphetamines are bad, addictive, neurotoxic, dangerous, poison, but still millions of children and adults are taking ritalin, adderall, vyvanse, strattera every day. Studies claim that even low doses of MDMA can cause a decrease in verbal and visual memory yet still millions of people are taking it unresponsively every month and probably many in the higher degrees as well.

I've only had personal experiences with LSD and Cannabis and until I tried them, my initial assumption about these drugs was that LSD makes you insane and that cannabis makes you lazy and useless which obviously is all wrong.

Up until recently I thought cocaine, amphetamines and MDMA were drugs to steer far away from, but at the same time as I am reading about all the drugs I am slowly realizing that soooo much that is published in magazines and articles is wrong, misleading and simply lies lies lies.
Sure cocaine can be addicitve and the same goes for both MDMA and amphetamines in general, but still moderate and responsible use prevent addiction and prevent unnecessary damage.

I am trying to educate myself, but so much is biased and wrong.
To see if there is any objectivity left in this world I look for nicotine and memory impairment, but instead I find nicotine and increase in memory, a glass of wine in the morning prevents cancer, good for the stomach.

The only way to find out is to try. All this biased shit can go fuck itself!

its a pretty polarising topic, so biases influence research, social values get in the way of honest research, <puts on tin foil hat> corporations/governments possibly get in the way of reliable studies done on drugs

of course, i see a lot of bias towards drug studies here on bluelight, from drug users as well.. because its like a black or white thing, we love drugs so we can tend to defend them more than they really need to be sometimes.

also some personal experience of mine is that LSD helped me end up in a psychiatric ward for 2 months, and that smoking weed regularly worsens my bipolar, so drugs can be pretty subjective i guess

try not to be angry about it, anger doesnt help anyone, just accept that theres lots of ignorance out there, and its pretty difficult to shift that towards knowledge

There's a lot of propaganda & brainwashing lies towards drugs in general.......

Is cocaine, meth & amps good for you? IMO/ime, heck no, those drugs can easily damage your heart & cause chaos to your body.

So why do all these children & adults get adderall/Ritalin prescribed to them?

For concentration purposes but IMO, adderall isn't needed & the problem lies somewhere else. These doctors are drugging children now a days with adderall & prozac & then wonder why these kids grow up so dysfunctional.

Real MDMA has great therapeutic effects.......weed has many great values for cancer patients & many other diseases.

The only drugs I see that don't have many therapeutic effects are stimulants but others will argue they do.

Why are we taught in middle school that drugs bsd? Your guess is as good as mine........

well said!

You can slow down tolerance with nmda antagonists (but these will build tolerance themselves), there is no way to stop tolerance build up.

If somebody found a mechanism to completely stop build up of tolerance to opioids, amphetamines etc. they'd be a billionaire.

Like I said in the other thread, how about tolerance to NMDA antagonists? What do you take to treat that?

People report developing tolerance to ketamine, MXE, PCP etc... so what happens then?
