Why is there hunger?

^
that is appealing to me, but difficult.

Anarchy is the Law.........................BUT we are fools. my God, would be maybe more happy then anything, to see us pull something like that off. separating church and state then, with that feeling, doesnt seem right, but, if i had children i would not want to see them fight over me, that isnt the point of myself and my brothers role in our family.

hehe - the thought of Anarchy is like mental masturbation, personally - it just doesnt work out alone the same.

Philosophically (that is, not empirically), since I believe that Existence is a macrocosmic and singular experience of Itself, I really had trouble with this question..
Real hunger isn't something I experience often.

Any ideas about that?

About the latest, drives like greed and hunger aren't necessarily bad.
However, these drives can lead to negative behaviors.
In an unregulated society (where volatile forms of expressed negativity are unpunished [Anarchy]), this would lead to rampant destruction and the breakdown of societal standards of positivity.

Granted, society encourages a lot of (possibly even more) detrimental negativity.
But the human assimilates and utilizes what we see fit.
And violence (since others exist) is out of our control, so wanton violence hurts more.

(Also, they're part of Existence, and ought to be accepted as Everything is.)

This is P&S guys, and whilst I appreciate that the boundaries are vague and fuzzy, the more practical, pragmatic talk about how to end hunger is more appropriate for CE&P. Keep it abstract and futile, please!

you cannot create or destroy energy so in order to move, you must borrow energy from something other than yourself. just like everything else in the universe.

eventually something will need your energy.

i only refer to Anarchy the way i do, because i believe the Universe was created out of Chaos, and i believe Chaos is the essence of creation.

we have our flaws, such as greed. God, or the Universe do not share emotions with us, this seems why trying to understand these things - seems unreasonable. for instance, my white-blood-cells, are eating me alive, for no reason that no medical professional can explain, or will be able to in my life time. does this make it wrong? not at all - has it destroyed me? not at all, i am much stronger and more capable then i knew....or would of cared to assume.

I was just futilely scrolling down reading the lightweight philosophical responses to the OP thinking pretty much exactly what you've written to myself. So if only in order to prove that you must share the intellectual ownership of your thoughts I have quoted us.

& entity - biological organism ? One & the same or maybe a one a means through which another may have experience otherwise unavailable to them ?
From reading about the great mystics & cave dwelling heroes such as Buddha & friends it would seem that it is possible to overcome the urge to respond to the spirit of hunger - at least for the spiritually enlightened - jesus was another one if I recall rightly & there was a guy called Bobby Sands who died in an Irish/English jail from resisting the spirit of hunger.
Many spirits seem to go hand in hand with being in/of a biological organism - so powerful is their lure that one could lose ones own spirit if you weren't careful.
Man that reads religious on reflection - spirit = attitude/mood/way of being/essence, in my book which I haven't written.
An organism without spirit would not truly feel alive & maybe a spirit without an organism with which to experience matter may feel so much more faintly - ramble ramble - symbiosis is not the precise definition but the more imaginative amongst you should be able to decipher if you see fit to spend the time.

perfect(what are you waiting for, the inspiration to come to you(you've always had it) and adding that Yoga, is, indeed a soul food is maybe a good idea.
;-)

and if my arthritic-scrambled-body can do it, anybodies body can - lol

I would say that my "Fact' (God/Existence) is the source of emotion, and experiences them all.
In fact, that's why I believe that Understanding exists.
Then, of course, this is the application of it all, too. (I heard it aptly put as exchanging objects grammatically. :)

i think the OP's questioning is addressing the idea that one suffers from hunger more than that hunger itself exists.

my answer to OP is that if you can see who you really are right now, you would know that the pain from hunger is merely motivation for to the organism to seek food. it has nothing do with you, in the sense of suffering, unless you choose to see it that way. silence your mind and suffering ceases to exist.... you created suffering...
