Why is H weighed differently??

The title basically says it. How come H when I get a ball only weighs 3, and I think everything else I've ever gotten has been weighed at the true 3.5? Also I ask this because I got a whole "piece" and it weighed 25gs? It just doesn't even add up! So I get an extra g for buying a whole one? Isn't a true oz. 28gs? Just wondering if you people's could help me figure this out. I've heard a bunch of different answers around here and they all seem to be BS

Drug slang is not a unit of measurement, and varies wildly with the local culture. However, a "ball" is pretty standardly 3.5 grams, and I assume a "piece" should be 28g/1oz.

Lol I figured it's not a technical unit of measurement but everyone I've known that uses the "harder" drugs other then weed usually kno what I'm talking about... I live in the PNW and only get tar, I've been in this shitty game for to long and dealt with a handful of people. Some shady and others not to shady. Everyone sells an 1/8 for around the same price and it has always weighed 3 exactly and so forth with a quarter being 6 and a half being 12 and a full oz @ 25, which I always just thought wow u get 1 gram for Free! (think of that crazy guy in the ??? Green suit) What do other peoples 1/8s weigh? Just curious like I said cuz it is bullshit haha. I might be getting ripped off but I'm sure if they did weigh true I would just have to pay a little more anyways.

Heh, reminds me of the .8 grams of coke/mdma I hear people from the UK talking about. You're getting shorted, period. Anybody trying to sell 3 gram 1/8ths or 25g ounces need to be confronted about it. Most buyers don't have scales so they get away with it regularly and it becomes their norm, maybe even passed on dealer to dealer in some areas until it becomes accepted in that paricular area... it's not normal though and people would get their ass beat if they tried to do that where I live.

Although I've heard of this stuff happening a few times on the boards (usually from europeans), I've never heard of this stuff being accepted anywhere I've lived. From the ghettos of the city to the sticks of the country. An eighth of an ounce will always weigh 3g, just like an ounce will always weigh 28g. You can't go around skimping people by making up your own weight measurements for higher profit .
