i don't know anything about abscesses from injections. people who do might be missing that you have one. because this thread is trying to id something that clearly isn't ok dope, when it sounds like you might have a more serious problem.

I have this cream that was given to me and I was told it can help with a abscess if you don’t have antibiotics, it’s called TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1% I’ve noticed that it does seem to take away some pain and help with the swelling. Will this help or is it all in my head about taking away the pain.

The steroid cream will help reduce the immune system's response in the area of your abscess. It will reduce swelling, and therefore pain. OTC NSAIDs will offer some additional benefit too. Or topical OTC NSAIDs.
