why doesn’t discord work?

I saw other people complaining about this on another website. This is one of the many reasons why I won't touch discord with a 10 foot pole. The only time I do access it is via a machine I have where the web browser is isolated from the rest of the system.

They don't have to decrypt anything. They can see everything in plain text and yes they're on there all day every day.
