why does smoking weed make me sick now?

Bump , Ive been smoking weed for around 20 years and have found weed that is high in ferts has alot of negative side effects, such as headaches, feeling sick and imo is what leaves you feeling crappy after smoking weed somtimes. You really notice the difference when you are smoking/vaping organically well grown weed that has flushed itself of chlorophyll and nutes, absent of heavy metals and other unnatural elements that you get with synthetic fed cannabis, the high is clean there is a satisfactory feeling you get that lasts you dont feel anxious to smoke more and when it wears off you feel refreshed and invigorated. There are also many more positives to consuming organically grown weed.
Another factor to consider is the use of pesticides and fungicides half the stuff being used isn't even food grade, I feel smoking any kind of treated weed can make you feel sick, dizzy and shake, it shouldn't be eaten let alone smoked but plenty of growers use them. It is my conclusion that these bad side effects and similar cases of cannabis syndrome are not the result of consuming cannabis in itself but are the result of over fed synthetic nutes, supplements and chemicals pesticides and fungicides.

Cheers
When my mouth was still filled with Amalgam fillings/ Blue ones.
50 % Mercury/ Tin and Silver.

Smoking bad quality Weed, that passed time to time.
Had a bizar effect, when inhaling, we smoke Tobacco laced joints.
It seemed to react with the fillings, and a weird tasting fume would form,
which was inhaled with the smoke.

Found scary, both ways the Weed and the reaction in my mouth with the Amalgam.
Probably releasing the Mercury as a fume.

That Weed crossed my path a few more times with the same consistent effect.
What was it leftover artificial Fertiliser, Pesticides, reagents/ oxidisers.

Soon as organised crime started getting involved, especially.
Quantity over quality. The imports from East Europe where worst.

Fillings where removed so can t check if its still doing rounds.
But it did stop then at a point i remember.
And one of the 2 Coffeeshops here,
does illegal lab tests on all there stuff.

Some people develop Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And others get busy with all kinds of occupation including on-line propaganda aligned on that of the $¢ientology $e¢t, or some YT "influencer" with a « do¢tor » title who conveniently forgot his oath to Hippocrate... Etc., etc., ad nauseam!

If your getting sick from cannabis it's likely due to synthetic salts and chemical sprays.

Happens all the time in the current cannabis markets, it's essentially treated just like tobacco.

Look for craft grown cannabis and I bet you enjoy yourself

So you think you're justified to impose your displeasure on everyone else just because, what? Being unable somehow to recognize that there's an incompatibility between YOU and the noble molecules of cannabis, one way or another. Hummm... The thing is your intuition was correct if you intended to imply that i never experienced CHS in my whole long consumer life; not to mention if we care/dare to ask Google's oracle about this new mysterious "disease" then it responds 2004, initially. At best, with a little more perseverance the name John Henry Allen (1854-1925) pops out, which roughly corresponds to the victorian age. What da ya know! And that's not all.

Here's the crunchy part. Ask Google about when cannabis was first known to humanity and you'll get 2800 BC! Which i find conservative but i'll go with it. Better yet, the name Shen Nung resurfaces while this knowledgeable man turned out to be well versed in chinese « pharmacopoeia », including the "healing properties" of cannabis. aHummm...

In any case i can't but repeat my previous advice but it's quite clear you'll ignore it. Fake or propaganda or both i don't really care, CHS was NEVER on my radar until « légaleezation » became a topic and i ain't exactly alone... So yeah, i figured that much indeed!

Good day, have fun!! ☮️

idk why he's so mad about it

i had my doubts too when i heard about it 10 or so years ago

but now i know ppl that it actually happened to

still not lot of ppl, but a couple - and these guys are growers, so why would they lie about it?

CHS happens

True true. I'm a high level breeder in that industry so I'm rubbing elbows with alot of other big names and get alot of shared info there.

Unrelated but I know one thing that is almost universally true is strong negative reactions to cannabis pollen

one of my trimmers would only be allergic to certain strains too

it was weird

...he's so mad about it...

In your dreams. So much for the YouYouMi talk, not to mention it's quite about time to revisit this other thread which YOU've managed to ignore:

Would you please use this home-made reality filter of mine and try to provide some more global context:

Neuro-plasticity;
Contaminants;
Consumption Method & Ritual;
Socio-toxic 3rd-party interference.

Like how/where you got it, how long this has been going on and what age group you belong to, smoker or vaporist preferences, medical background, etc.

At least it's truly constructive to adopt a more global perspective searching for co-factors, like over-exposure to pollen, known to induce a higher risk of developing an allergy... Personally i'm quick to suspect dosing abuse since it's a typical legacy of the prohibitionist era, gone even worse through "legalization" as it lacks effective health-wise parameters while wax pen generating monster clouds have become so popular on YouTube.

why would they lie about it?

We live in a world where digital warriors invade our forums to serve real dark objectives at times. Recently i heard of a type of group searching for vulnerable individuals with the intent to push them to the edge, literally. As an old man it's difficult for me to comprehend the motivation, perhaps a need to belong in a virtual tribe that celebrates its "power" after a victim finally commits suicide. Well, maybe i'm forging some odd fiction but then why would i lie about it, right?

...

yea well im old too - so what

and im not worried about anybody pushing me over the edge online

but yea you could always join a tribe - never too old for that right?

Yea I am not really allergic to much anything but I have minor alllergy to cannabis-and it does not really even become obvious with all material and not all ROAs. Surprisingly I have had symptoms from certain hash as of recently, when I haven't got much of anything from bud for a while.

What you're describing is THC psychosis and it's becoming a lot more prevalent with all thee strong stains there are now. This is even much more prevalent if you vape concentrates. There are strains that have a better balance of cannabinoids that give the entourage effect and you obviously experienced this when you smoked the Cali strain you mentioned.

It not cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome because those symptoms are only gastrointestinal with nausea and cramps with no negative psychological effects!

Everyone thinks the high THC strains are best but take it from a long time medical marijuana caregiver, they're not! Stay away from Sativa strains and look for some that have CBD, CDN and are high in Myrcene. These strains will not be the highest in THC and more in the 20% range.

Correct. Many of the better strains still only test 12-20%. Keep an eye on terpenes like myrcene, caryophllene and linalool.

Also CBN is a great cannabinoid as in CBD
