Stimulants Why does it feel different each time I do meth?

Hello,

This is my first post after doing a lot of reading, I hope I'm doing it okay. First of all, it's nice to have a community to ask these sorts of questions. I've been feeling very alone and isolated.

I have been on and off meth for a year. I used to smoke it but it got too intense. Now, i drink it in coffee - a very small bit a few mornings a week. Sometimes I'll have it 4 days in a row and stop for a few days etc. When it feels good, I'm able to work, talk, and socialize.

When it's bad, I get extreme leg cramps, paranoid, cranky and can barely just hold up a conversation.

I create websites and have a ton of content to write. When I'm good, it sails by and I keep my clients happy. When I'm off, you can imagine.

Is there any secret formula? I see how crazy that looks writing this but just wondering what anyone thinks.

Thanks,

I find my outlook before partaking generally plays a lot into how my experiences are. If I'm depressed, anxious, guilty for spending money on it - I'm all things I don't want to be after getting high. Like if I rely on finding it and in turn on the meth itself to propel me through my week because I am shot and burned out, I spend a ton of time awake watching porn, being late, and doing nothing. Wondering why I'm not having fun and compulsively overheating and blasting through bowls.

Not sure if this information is remotely useful. In short, the more I rely on meth to get things done because I'm checked out, the less I do and the less I experience the positive effects.

The above poster stepKrueger has an excellent point. State of mind greatly effects the quality of my experience on any stimulant or psychedelic drug. If I have a lot of schoolwork to do, (I'm applying to Veterinary school this fall) a little oral dosage (10-20 mg) really enables me to plow through a stack of advanced quantitative physics (nothing too crazy, just basic light mechanics stuff from calc/algebra based Physics 252). For me, I have to space out my doses in order to "keep the magic" If I do it for a couple days in a row I end up feeling flatter and flatter every day until I have to take twice my original dose to get to the same spot. The higher dosage that I take, the more side effects I experience (insomnia, agitation, etc.) If I were you I'd just watch the frequency of your dosing and try to keep your dosage as low as possible when you do decide take some. It sounds to me like you mainly use it to enhance productivity at work which is something I can understand, after all it is finals week at my University right now. ;) Take care of yourself and be safe. Note: All of the above is my own personal experience and I don't condone drug abuse of any form. I am not a Doctor.

Environmental factors can play a lot into the high. I get a lot more euphoria if the weather is nice and I'm out with friends or something. If I get an urge in the middle of the night and go buy off some bum downtown then smoke a bowl behind a dumpster... its not as great. lol.

I don't think meth is worth it. At least not for me. Come to think of it, I haven't done any in over a year :)

I find that the outcome of the session is highly dependent on your state of mind going in. Good mood beforehand, more pleasant high. Bad mood beforehand, more unpleasant high. And so on. Enviroment is a factor as well. The more comfortable the place you're in, the better your high is gonna be.

Not to mention every bag you get was probably manufactured by different people and turned out differently, as expected. Not to mention whatever shit has been thrown in with it to add weight.
