Why does Buprenorphine work so weirdly?

So like the title says buprenorphine works really weird in me. Sometimes I get sudden nod feeling out of nowhere after 30 minutes of feeling completely normal.

Anyone ever experiences this?

When I used methadone to get off heroin people would complain of bupe not working the same every day. They would feel sick at different times. Some would get 2-3 days from a dose some not even 1.
I only used to microdose for a few days and was coming off methadone though
