i think its because some people oncw they get older and off say opiates they dont have the energy to go out on missions and ripping and running anymore, a lot of them lose their connects and because it takes so long for the mind and body to recoup from opiates they go to drinking tontry and feel happy again for a few moments

That was gonna be more or less my theory too. I always say being a junkies pretty much a full time job every day, if it isn't bullshit you gotta do to get the drugs it's bullshit you gotta do to get the money. But it all takes time and if you use all the time. Using is your break, your weekend so to speak, from everything else involved in attaining it. That's my experience anyhow.

Can do it in your 20s and 30s but id imagine eventually theres an endpoint, and you more or less gotta keep doing it to keep doing it. Stop for a prolong period. Contacts slowly disappear, and you'd have to start from the beginning. I'd guess that's where a lot of people switch to what's available.

Again, just based on my personal experience and guesswork.

Didn't feel lik reading the entire topic, but just wanted to share my view upon the matter:
Many people who are struggling with addiction have underlying problems, which cause this addiction. When they abstain from their initial drug, they tend to require something to replace it with. If they find the strength to abstain from addiction all together, they'll often develop mental problems, which might hinder their daily life a whole lot more.

Because we can't find fuckjng drugs anymore. And my goddamn older boy is against "ruining his temple" so I can't steal his shit. Alcohol is all I got left.
