Misc Why diphenhydramine with Klonopin, and/or other benzos?

It seems like a lot of people that just take benzos like to take diphenhydramine. I wonder why that is? I mean I do, but with an opioid. I don't remember if I ever have without an opioid. What is the combo like with just the two?

I never heard/read of this particular combination. For me, benzos have zero recreational potential unless I'm in anxiety or over-stimmed, neither does diphenhydramine and I imagine these both together just was a recipe to induce sleep.
