Why Compressed Weed

It becomes much more compact for transportation. I belive that is the primary reason weed is compressed. It is much easier to smuggle a bricked up key rather than 10 sacks of nice fluffy buds.
 
Personnally..I've been able to get garbage bags full of bob at 100 a head..
Would get me close to 100grams of hash.. that isn't too bad in the first place to smoke up(the bob). Then the compressed thc/hash is a lot better
 
Compressing weed bursts many of the trichomes, reducing the potency and degrading the flavour.
 
Say you had a hundred pounds, would you really give a fuck about pristine nugs? Maybe if you were an idealist. No, you'd be vaccum sealing that shit and moving it asap.

Dude, true. I just picked some non compressed and my whole body feels good.
 
Compressed weed is always better. Less prone to dry out that way, especially if it's nicely sealed. Better for the consumer in the end as your get more for your buck. Who cares about flavour, you'd probably be smoking it anyways.

i got some brick years ago, weighing it out i sliced my finger on a razor that was pressed in eith the buds , i was more pissed off at loosing like a half ounce from the weight of the blade :X

Thats why its called mersh or comercial. The quality is not the objective. Its the money to be made. And since most americans are to lazy or scared to grow their own and smokw sensi. They settle for pressed shit. Most of the press you buy has been settin in the heat in a building for awhile and handled ruff and moldy. It is pure garbage and your only supporting the sell of garbage by buyin it. It destroys the tri-chomes and makes it easier to mold becuase no air can get through it and it mildews. Not to mention it was more than like some ruderial/indica/hemp strain that the males wasnt pulled and its full of seeds and little stems. Any one that buys press is a fuckin retard in my book. Just my two cents on the mater of press..

Yeah probably very few people actually want to buy pressed buds, but sometimes it's the only thing you can find. It's not always bad weed though - I have smoked some decent compressed mids before but yeah sometimes they can be pretty bad too.
 
Yeah we get a decent amount of bricked weed in my parts. Sometimes its actually pretty decent bud and its a shame it had to be all compressed but for the love of monneyy, always

In Australia this isn't the case at all. In fact most of the time the 'bricked' buds I have come across have been absolutely skunk and above the average street bud. Where I live skunk is either grown in a small hydro operation and there is never a huge influx of it, or it comes by the truckload in KG bricks. This bud may have lost potency being squashed but it still towers above the rest.
