why? Benzos and Z-Drugs

I thought that one of the main facts about Z-drugs is that you cant piss dirty for benzodiazepines. Well I did at my prescribed doses.

ex: 7.5 mg every other night when Having trouble to sleep. 7.5mg Zolpidem is what im taking.

Im on methadone by the way.

ps: I have never even abused them for a high at all anytime. The most I have taken was 2 one night when I missed my methadone that day and was having a bit more troulbe sleeping.

Normally we don't allow any drug testing questions, since they've all been answered and don't really have anything to do with HR. I'll let this slide, since I haven't seen it before and the answer might be beneficial to others in the future.

Are you positive you didn't take a benzo recently? z drugs won't come up as benzo + as far as I know

Ever heard of a false positive?

It may have nothing to do with the Z class.

The Z class causes cancer in rats and humans when used beyond 6 months, I would get benzos instead of Z drugs and transition from methadone to Suboxone in order to do so.

Just my 2 cents. If you want to stay on methadone tell them to piss off and show them you're taking a Z drug. You can say you asked your doctor and they said there's a rare case or two where it will show up as benzos on a chart.

I believe full-heartedly in bullshitting people who drug test you; they have no positive intentions for your life.

But, as phrozen said, we don't allow drug testing questions.

Z-drugs shouldn't show up as benzos on drug tests, as they're chemically different.

They were created as an "improved" version of hypnotic benzos, causing less disruption to your REM sleep patterns.
