Why are opiates making me nauseous now?

I've always had a stomach of steel, never throwing up once till I was 26.
Now, I haven't used opiates all that much and mostly I've used hydrocodone. I used to never have a problem with getting nauseous or throwing up. I did puke once, about 8 months ago when I took a rather large dose of hydrocodone. I was pretty experienced with it and a decent tolerance goign on so it surprised me a little.
And since about last Sept, I've used H probably 20 times or so, just sniffing it. At first, no problem, just itchiness but no nausea. But now, I get nauseous really quick on even fairly small doses of any opiate.
What gives - I thought the nausea was supposed to go away the more your body got used to it, but for me, the more I do them the more likely I am to get nauseous.
Any thoughts?

as a rule of thumb, thats correct...
assuming you're buying your scag from the same dealer and/or from the same batch (or several diff. batches, with similar persistent symptons cropping up) then all i can tell you is this: different people react differently to drugs...
an example for all, when my grandfather was dying from stomach cancer, he was given morphine as standard treatment for those circumstances... in his particular case, however, the morphine actually INCREASED his feeling of pain & discomfort, so they had to resort to another, non-opiate, tranquilizer....
so maybe you're just particularly sensitive to H, and have developed a reverse-tolerance to it...

I've been using opiates for 5-6 years now & have never really had probelms with nausea until recently.
Someone told me to try 'Dramamine' which is an anti-histamine for motion sickness. So I brought some & it works like a charm, I'm a satisfyed customer, give it a try!
 
I have no problems with taking Dramamine or other anti-nausea drug, I just find it kind of strange that I've been getting more and more nauseous on it instead of less.
Last time I did a little bit of of h and tossed my cookies two tmes that nite - first about 2 hours after I did it and he next time, about 4 hours later, and about 1 hour after doing another little bump of it.
 
It could be a million things, but what seems most likely to me is that its a different batch of dope or a new cut
That is correct; I too have come across dope that is very nice, but makes me sick in the end. I believe it is something they cut it with...

Yes, over time the nausea will descrease but if you are a chronic user - here is one possible answer - you turn into a chronic user and the nausea will decrease, well, if you take a break then resume you will usually get slapped with some BAD nausea but it will pass and again you will return to the USER OF STEAL ..
If you have had no breaks in your use it might just be the stuff yer getting... regardless, try some Dramamine or diphenhydramine (Sominex or Benadryl)..

Once I started doing opiates more regularly & in larger doses I noticed myself starting to puke. I guess my body just wasn't able to deal with the amount of drugs in my system so it was a natural response. As time went on & I became a more chronic user I stoped blowing chunks. I'm sure the same will happen with you...

Thanks....I think it had to do with potency. This last batch I got wasn't nearly as strong as the previous one, unfortunately - I'd say about half as strong. I still got a good buzz from it but only got nauseous once and didn't puke at all.
I think I fall under the category of a chipper - I usually buy 3 $20s every 3-4 weeks and kind of binge on them so it's hard to keep my tolerance up. Though I really want to....
