Stimulants Why am I getting tired of concerta?

So I got a prescription from my doc 2 weeks ago.

At first it worked well but now it makes me so sleepy and lethargig omg.

I took 40mg retard 3hours ago and I feel so sleepy.

Maybe my dopamine is depleted?

I take it occasionally, means I take it like for 6-8 weeks than I take a break.

I dont have adhd.

Tolerance to stimulants like methylphenidate happens fast, and pretty quickly after starting, you won't get quite the same euphoria or stimulation as you might have previously.

I've heard of certain people having contrary effects to certain stimulants.

If I do too much regular amphetamine, I get sloshy and tired. I don’t have that much experience with concerta to say if it's the same though.
But try with a slightly lowered dosage maybe?
The only thing I remember from Concerta is the harsh come down, but if I recall correctly I used to do 25mg or 20,and that was plenty.

If he wrote you a script just to study, maybe you could get a script for Vyvanse?

Wow, that's depressing.

Try taking a break for a few days to lower your tolerance, then take a lower dose when you try it again.
