My girlfriend's vaccination group is up and she's spending a lot of time trying to get an appointment. My group is next but since I just got over COVID, I have to wait for 90 days after I got it. I will get a shot then, keep my immunity up and make my girlfriend feel more comfortable, as well as make sure no one is going to try to prevent me from doiong stuff.
Yeah man, welcome to CEPS. You will be quite surprised and shocked if you hang around. Actually quite a few members are into conspiracy theories, so I should have known. The conspiracy theory crowd has been hijacked by the far right agenda, and by anti-vaxxers for a long time.
I had that effect very strongly when I was sick with COVID, the brain zaps. So it doesn't surprise me you'd get some of that if your immune system is fighting a mild inactivated form of the disease to create antibodies.
Seems like some people get temporary side effects for sure, but I am not aware of a single case of hospitalization or death from the vaccines. Accounts I have read of side effects involve a day or two of various relatively mild symptoms that disappear after that.
Lucky, it's very prevalent in America. Though it's falling as more people are getting them and not dying/etc. A little while back some nationwide poll showed that fully about 40% of people said they weren't planning to get vaccinated.
Just learned that current and former smokers get vaccinated Mar 24th in my state. Definitely going to grab one.
The amount of people who voted no on this poll shocked me. We have antivaxxers here? I did not imagine druggies would ever be anti vax

Will do.
Ya, it is this really strong woozy brain zap feeling for lack of better words. I can induce it on command by moving my eyes side to side. Though I am fairly certain my abuse/use of MDMA is a contributing factor.
What symptoms are you experiencing? And still after a few days? Sorry to hear that!

My wife had he vaccine 2/3 weeks ago - mine is on Saturday. I will be so relieved that our chances of being hit by covid are being reduced. I still won't go out much and hope to see the incidence rates fall and this pandemic to end quickly - I need to get on with boring things like holidays and going to the pub. I've heard studies showing anit-vaccine attitudes in UK have fallen from around 25% to 3 or 5% so can't quite understand what this survey is showing! Think past the paranoia and conspiracy theories please people!
