Who in the UK has successfully tried DMT extraction?

Wow 3 days, really?
Maybe I have a super cold freezer but my first pull has usually dropped all the crystals (over half the total yield from all 4 pulls) in 2-3 hours. Even if it hasn't all dropped out you'll get it on the next pull if you re-use the solvent so why wait?
I use 120 ml of naptha per pull.
 
Why would you use lighter fluid? Lab-grade heptane and hexane are easy enough to get.
 
Why not, are your saying it's not safe to use.
If so have you got any proof of this?
 
I didn't say it's not safe to use. I just don't understand why you'd use lighter fluid, which could contain anything, when pure fractions are so easy to get. I don't think chemists use lighter fluid.
 
still abit confused about freezing the naptha. does that contain the dmt? or the remaining sludge?
 
^Sorry but asking that question means you need to do alot more reading before you attempt this process. Do some more research, read different teks, make sure you understand each part of the process before you try to do this. You could be badly burned or go blind if you fuck it up.
 
well i got the impression its in the sludge. just the reason behind freezing the naptha throw me off. non-toxic food tek for me then!
 
Once you allow the naptha to spend some time in the sludge, the DMT will move out of the sludge and into the naptha (which floats at the top).

Because it floats at the top, you can isolate it with either a turkey baster, or if you raid the chemistry lab, a separator funnel (makes life much easier)

The pure naptha (don't allow ANY sludge in it), will contain all the DMT. In order to free the DMT from the naptha, freeze it. After a day or so (some say less), the DMT crystals will have stuck to the sides of the container you froze the naptha in.

Pour the naptha through a coffee filter to pick up any crystals floating in the naptha and then scrape off the dmt crystals into a dish. Pour all the naptha back into the sludge for another pull.

Allow the dmt crystals to dry off.

Enter the spirit realm.

I have never used a coffee filter, I just pour the naptha out the of the shot glass slowly and any floaters stick to the side of the glass.
Even if you miss some the're not going anywhere they will still be in the solvent for the next pull and by the time you do the last pull there aren't many floaters anyway. I know this because I tried fully evap'ing the solvent thats left and there was barely anything in there, not worth the hassle.
 
True.

In a way, everything after the first pull is just the crumbs, almost not worth going through the motions. I won't be doing more than a second pull again.

Or am I missing something?
 
Yeah I know what you mean but i have been surprised by getting more on a third pull then the second before. I normally do 4 pulls and it's obvious by then you aint getting much more out of it.

if someone could let me know pretty quickly if this is treading too close to source talk then ill delete my post, alternativley, totaly happy if a mod does.
but, has anyone any idea of where to get lye or calcium hydroxide in the uk?
d-limonine seems simple enough to obtain...maybe a stupid question, but better safe than sorry, presumably d-limonine and calcium hydroxide are completly legal to import into the UK?
