I have mixed lorazepam with tramadol before and it was nice. I'm not a big benzo fan, though.
The seizure risk with tramadol is overblown on this forum. If you have no history of seizures, you're likely not going to have one. But use common sense in dosing. If it's your first time taking tramadol, take a small dose. I'm not saying don't use caution, because some people with no history of seizures have had them by taking tramadol in recommended dosages. I've had plenty of nods from tramadol alone. And lying down and closing your eyes can sometimes put you in a waking-dream state. Start dreaming in a few minutes, but be aware of you are dreaming. Almost like closed eye visuals in a way.
