How much of that is really a "theory" cause its in several articles in Drugs in the media about downed planes traced back to gov(maybe i.c.e.?) containing mad amounts of cocaine and other shenanigans like killing off reporters as well.. Despite if its a conspiracy or not that is N for Not kool!

This shit could seriously turn 1984 on our asses. They could want to 'cure' us all by mandatory rehabs and institutions.
 
Religious 'rehabs' and 12 step programs are big business. They are the ones pushing hardest against maintenance programs (including those already in place, like MMT and BMT. Hell, it wasn't that long ago that Guliani stopped all state funded Methadone clinics in NYC for 3 months, even less time since John McCain sponsored a bill to stop all Federal Methadone clinics).

Currently these zealots want mandatory Naltrexone implants for convicted opioid addicts as a part of their parole or probation programs.

I could easily see a comprimise. Sure, we'll let you put these dope fiends in drug treatment diversion programs instead of prison. In return we want those narcotic peddlers wearing Naltrexone pellets under their skin!
