White Cross?

Ok, it could be ephedrine, but I'm just not sure. It had no numbers on the pill. It was white, no coating, and the only scoring on the back was a cross.Not an "X", but the center line was off-center so it looks like a cross. The press is tight, but it doesn't look professional, good but not like some pharmacutical company took the time to do this.
HE claims it's speed. I haven't a clue, so I bought dexedrine instead. I remember some kid in high school telling me about "white cross speed" but one thread I found in search mentioned this possibility, but there was some numbering on it as were in that persons example.
Is it speed? If it is i'm assuming it's amphetamine, not meth or something else? Is it a well-known press of street drugs? Curious since I want them if they are amphetamine or stronger.

Most likely ephedrine...but there's only one way to find out if it's shit or not.

i remeber a lot of bars having them on hand for some reason.
i don't know the specific use(i always thought for respitory illness'), but i was with a friend at this resturant/bar in Atl and we were taking somas. well he took a shit load and fell out so our friend who worked there gave him some(white cross') to speed up his heart.
