which solvent to use for volumetric dosing of amphetamine sulphate?

I got my hands on 1g amphetamine sulphate and wanted to measure out 50mg for study. as i dont have any sclaes volumetric dosing seems to be my best option. was wondering what i should mix the powder with, would water be sufficient?

Water will work just fine. Other solvents will not be of much use to you unless you plan on splitting and then evaporating it.
