Hi all,

I have heard that eating cannabis has similar but different effects to smoking. Why is that? Is it because the THC takes a different route before binding to the receptors in the brain and ultimately ending up having the same effects as smoking a large amount (since the effects supposedly last longer) of THC has? Where does the THC travel after it leaves the stomach? Does it go exactly to the same parts of our anatomy as smoking does, ultimately making it the same except stronger and longer? What makes the eaten THC stronger and longer than smoked THC?

Because it goes through the liver, undergoing first pass metabolism, before reaching the brain. We've been through this before.

He doesn't even need to do that, he can just refer to any of the multitude of threads on the exact same subject that he himself started. Sorry to be shirty RR but this is really getting old.

ANother Rude Rabbit Cannabis thread...

Have you thought about doing your research on Cannabis somewhere else?? Like, go away...don't mean to be TOO much of a dick, but seriously, you could find this stuff out elsewhere without much trouble at all...
