Which Opiate is more likely to induce halucinations/delusions

Which opiate taken orally has more potential to induce halucinations/delusions, Demerol, or Oxycodone?

i have had very scary delusions/halucinations while sleeping or trying to fall asleep after taking opiates. I would like to avoid this because its very scary, but i cannot stop taking the pain medication because i will be in to much pain to sleep..

depends on what you mean by opiate. for example, ibogaine and salvia affect KOR, but share the morphinan structure to be classified as opiates. however, i would classify them as opioids. demerol will also cause halucinations as venrak said; so will to much tramadol. stay away from these and you'll be fine. finally, kratom might be more likeis more lkely to cause hallucinations in high doses because of NMDA-antagonism + suspected sigma-1 receptor agonism. delta agonist also are known to causes speedy effects and sometimes hallucinations in extreme doses.

The synthetics are more prone to hallucinations and what not. Demerol will do that for you. Its high also feels different. I can't describe it as its been a long time since I used Demerol

Are you in the states? I don't think Demerol is as widely prescribed as it used to be here.
If you must take Demerol for pain, take as directed and don't go overboard with it.
