I saw this in a descripton of the classic ipod..
"Use the Click Wheel to adjust volume, navigate songs, browse in Cover Flow, or explore the Music menu by playlist, artist, album, song, genre, composer, and more. Want to mix things up? Click Shuffle Songs. iPod classic makes your music look as good as it sounds, thanks to its big, bright, color display."
And I've used my friends older one, I don't understand what you mean by it dosen't support folder browsing. I could search my friends ipod by artist or song, I didn;t bother with the genra thing, that was some stupid shit there I admit.
I use folder browsing on my pc cause i usually dl full albums or live shows, and listen to them by folder with VLC media player, after just having a long list of single songs in no particular order, folder browsing is the shit, I just don't get how being able to choose by artist or album isn't folder browsing minus the click and open folders.
Can someone fill me in on the diffrence? I've looked around and I can't find a large one (40-80 GB) that has the so called folder browsing, and also supports FLAC and .shn files, which dosen't matter too much to me cause I usually convert the flacs or shorten files of live shows to decent quality mp3, which makes them about 1/2 or 1/4 of the size they'd be originally.
I'm looking around the review sites now, but I haven't even seen a review that mentions folder browsing.
