Which is your favorite: Friday the 13th film?

I just saw the new one last night. It was better than the last few, but that's not saying much at all. I like the 6th the best, but I like 3 and 4 equally.

Jason takes manhatten! Just kidding. The new one was pretty good but I'll have too watch it again as I used rum instead of beer for the Jason Drinking Game since it's more convenient to sneak a bottle into the theatre and spike the sodas rather than having to constantly do the *COUGH* tsssk-pop! so I was pretty smashed by a little way into the film.
Barring a review of the new one I'd have to pretty much agree with you down the line. Though number 3 in 3D is especially fun, notably when he crushes the person's head and the eyeball pops out, lol.

Jason Takes Manhatten pissed me off so bad. I remember being all excited that Jason was going to be killing in the big city, only to see it was the equivalent of The Love Boat movie with Jason as Captain Stubing. What the fuck was up with the ending? Jason gets flooded in toxic waste (which seemed to everywhere in NY...the few NY scenes they showed anyway) and he turns into a normal looking boy? Huh?

Part 9 was just a fucking insult to Friday fans. Jason as a giant worm that jumped from body to body? I liked that movie better when it was called The Hidden.

Jason X is just too stupid to even comment on.

Watched the new one again while sober and liked it much more now that it's not a hazy patchwork of incoherent images. I give it a thumbs up.

I don't think they're supposed to be scary or anything. It's a niche that falls under horror but hardly, kind of like the Evil Dead movies, god bless them. That's what I need to go pick up another copy of, Army of Darkness
