I keep my keys in a bowl not far from my door. That way, they're always in the same place, and I never have to search far to find them.
:D
Oh, and I checked my hand: there were literally no keys in them.
That's a good starting point... keep noticing your hands are empty ;-). Then notice how they're not gripping onto much of anything lately, and usually don't need to, cuz everything is cool.
What people don't know, won't hurt them. This should be a triumphant statement that ends most suffering, but for some reason it isn't looked at that way. IMO -- if you're tired of hurting, drop the search for knowledge. By the time whatever it is shows up in the here and now, you'll know exactly what it is and how to deal with it. With a clear head. Confidently. Decisively.
Or find out as much as you can about it, get confused, hope it won't ever show up, be afraid it might, prepare as much as possible, and when it arrives, hope you can forget enough of what you know to be able to deal with what actually happens.
Whoever said knowledge is power must have meant "it makes you feel powerful". I'm not convinced even of that. Makes people feel something familiar. Repetitive. Done over and over and over, so many times. Meep-meep... ding. Click/tick. Click/tick Click/tick, click/tick. "Stop pushing my buttons!" OK, OK, as long as I don't have to hook you up and then plug u in. Do you cycle well on the extra large size dishes?

.
^^ IMO, that's what knowledge ultimately does to people... because life is unpredictable and ever changing. Knowledge is predictable and never changes. It's not "life as we don't know it" at all.
Peace...
