Hi, new to the forums. I'm not sure where to post about this. I have a certain amount of medication and I'm seriously considering suicide in detail. I don't want to be permanently brain damaged from taking too little to die but enough to be an overdose. It doesn't seem like it's ever okay to ask about this anywhere, but I was hoping for some answers here. Am I allowed to specify at all?

Unfortunately isis, if you're looking for advice on how much of certain medications will cause a fatal overdose, none of us here will condone that kind of conversation.

OP, I am sorry that the pain of your life is greater than what you feel you can bear. I see suicide as wanting to kill life as it is being lived rather than wanting to kill the person living that life. So kill the life that is causing you pain and free yourself into a different life. There are many ways to do that depending on what aspects of your life are causing so much misery.
I respect your privacy in not wanting to discuss what is making you feel like ending your life but asking for recommendations about how to go about it is not allowed. (You do not want to put your life into the hands of internet strangers many of whom may be 16 year olds that heard from someone sometime somewhere that taking x with y would kill you.) For this reason I am closing this thread. Please feel free to PM me if you want to discuss this action. Feel free to post suicidal feelings in either of the stickied suicide threads either here or in TDS as well as to PM me or any other moderator at any time.
