the USDOJ link is probably more reliable than Erowid for the latest drug scheduling information. it might be a good idea to search your state government's website to see if they have any drug-related laws online too, since your state may have different laws than the federal government regarding certain drugs - AMT is a very likely drug to be inconsistent between states.
no offense, but there might be people in the Legal Q & A forum that would be better able to handle your question.
