Where is Brimz?/Dreamcast Appreciation Station

^ That was brilliant. Love the video also, bitches platting his frizzy hair as he raps. Brilliant.

raas do u like eminem by any chance?

Edit - i hate snoop dogg.. he's approaching no rap talent and that's being kind

Yes. I was a big Em fan back in the day. Loved and owned his first 3 albums. "Rock bottom" and "hailies song", "Sing for the moment", "remember me!", "Amityville" are songs that spring to mind.

He was something special; a true entertainer. So pleased he's finally found Christ<3;)

I never really liked Snoop Dogg. Though recently he's grown on me. He's got style and gimmicks. Always throws in a bit of humour to his songs which is good. His first album "Doggystyle" is amazing.

Fuck yes raas we have something in common..

When this life makes you mad enough to kill

Suddenly I'm not crazy

Sing it with me, just for today, maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you
away...

We don't do drivebys, we park in front of houses and shoot

Not the best choice in songs :p But still good.. did you never get into Encore?

And Eminem hasn't found christ.. there's been a teeny tiny rumour circulating on the web.. "Please lord this boy needs jesus, heal this child help us destroy these demons, oh and please send me a brand new car with a prostitute while my wifes sick in the hospital"

marriage? more like poison.

You're fly rappers:

Eminem's a christian?

We don't believe you, you need more peoples...

While it was enticing for many to pounce on the idea that the formerly-troubled star would have a “come to Jesus” moment, the entire notion of an intense spiritual transformation is based on an unnamed source who was cited on the web site AllHipHop.com.

...

This story wasn’t only reported on the hip hop blog, though. Other outlets like The Christian Post and the blog and opinion section of The Huffington Post also explored the alleged faith transformation. Following the story’s circulation, TheBlaze decided to investigate the shocking claim. We made several calls and sent e-mails to an Interscope Records representative who work with “Slim Shady” (one of the rapper’s stage names).

After repeated attempts to receive an answer, the publicist offered a brief response when asked if the singer is now a born-again Christian. ”He is not,” the message back to TheBlaze read, thus debunking — at least until we hear a response from the rapper himself — the notion that has has personally embraced Jesus Christ’s teachings.

Aye, coz allhiphop.com's rumours page is where you get all the legit stories from...

Eric B & Rakim-The Punisher

NO ONE in EADD shows Rakim any love this is a concern of mine , there are a couple of dude's on BL that know the score but round these parts people need schooling on the 18th letter.

You need to learn this shit to be legit . for real.

Rakim is awesome. I just never listen to any of his stuff other than the Eric B & Rakim albums.

He'd maybe make it into my top 5 of technically best rappers ever, but definitely nowhere near the top 5 of rappers I like to listen to. If that makes any sense.

"I ain't no joke, I used to let the mic smoke..."

I Hear ya mate i would go as far as to say Technically he is the finest MC ever . Also agree that his solo stuff is not anywhere near the Eric B era .

The rhyme's he came out with back then are so fukin clever & multi layered you can listen to em hundreds of times n still find a metaphor or simile that you never caught before .

Follow me into a solo
Get in the flow - and you can picture like a photo

Music mixed mellow maintains to make
Melodies for MC's motivates the breaks

I'm everlastin, I can go on for days and days
With rhyme displays that engrave deep as X-rays

I can take a phrase that's rarely heard, FLIP IT
Now it's a daily word

Singer Eminem says, "I definately pray a lot more than I used to. I don't feel like I'm crazy wacky religious. But I do believe in God, and I do pray." The rapper tells Vibe magazine he's stopped taking drugs for the last year after he nearly died from an methadone overdose.

Betty Bowers:
Well, one look at that harlot, my only surprise is that she waited to do them one at a time. Now, to you: I didn't realize you were an albino.

Eminem:
I ain't no f----- albino! You want to dwell on my race but you could NEVER say that my s--- is whack because you know my s--- is tight.

Betty Bowers:
Scatological speculation aside, your eyes do look wildly dilated. Indeed, even the most strung-out girls in my Christian Crackwhore Ministry can't get their pupils to muster a gape like that. I'd say sunglasses would not be remiss even if you're not an albino. Not that I'm necessarily buying into your protestations in that regard, dear. So, tell us, are you now a born-again Christian?

Eminem:
Yeah, I am down with the Bible.

Betty Bowers:
How did this miraculous change occur, dear?

Eminem:
Well – dear – see? Everywhere I turn, I get s--- from posers that don't know me. Sticking a finger up my a-- about not being "politically correct" and s---. You know? People saying "you ain't supposed to say f-gg---" and "you ain't supposed to talk bout beating up b-tches." And Doctor Dre say --

Betty Bowers:
What type of doctor is Dr. Dre anyway? Medical? PhD?

Eminem:
Dre ain't a doctor. He just calls himself that to sound important.

Betty Bowers:
Oh, sort of like Doctor Laura.

Eminem:
She is one hard b-tch.

Betty Bowers:
Perhaps, you two could do a duet. You seem to hate all the same people.

Eminem:
Yeah, but I hate her, too! (laughs)

Betty Bowers:
Well, that hardly sets you apart, dear.

Eminem:
Yeah, but she wouldn't be down with it since she isn't going to cooperate with my slams on her.

Betty Bowers:
No, self-hatred would require far too much introspection for her. Let's talk about something more pleasant. So, tell me, did you become born again to avoid coarse vulgarity?

Eminem:
No, b----. I didn't f—king get f—king born-gain to do that!

Betty Bowers:
This is clearly a metamorphosis in its very earliest of stages. I assume, at a minimum, that you will no longer sing about, well, such uncivil inclinations as killing

I take 7 MC's put 'em in a line
And add 7 more brothers who think they can rhyme
Well, it'll take 7 more before I go for mine
Now that's 21 MC's ate up at the same time

Raas check your sources man. C'mon to fuck.

Hahaha! Aren't you a little concerned about the bias of your sources? I certainly am. I don't for one second believe that Betty Bowers thing is real. Do you? Have you actually read it?

As for the other one, I was skeptical of your source so I went looking for the actual Vibe article. Which is a reasonably interesting read regarding his drug addictions -

Turns out that quote is legit, so fair does. Although all he actually says is that his "higher power" for his 12 step program is god & that he prays. He doesn't mention Christianity (or any church/religion) at all.

So I'll accept that Eminem believes in god. I'll take that as the reason his music is so shite now ;)

Erm... actually his last album "Recovery" was critically acclaimed and a record breaking commercial success, being the first album to ever sell one million digital copies.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recovery_(Eminem_album)#Critical_reception
"Recovery was reported by Billboard to be the best-selling album of 2010, making Eminem the first artist in Nielsen SoundScan history to have two year-end best-selling albums.[81] Recovery is the best selling digital album in history.[82] The first single, "Not Afraid", was released on April 29, and debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100"

"As of July 2011, the album broke the digital record and became the first album to sell one million digital copies"

You can also make out his inclinations towards God/Christianity in the lyrics. In his release "Not afraid" he starts rapping about demons

"This fucking black cloud still follows me around
But it's time to exercise these demons, these motherfuckers are doing jumping-jacks now"

Good ol' Eminem. Seems like he's matured spiritually and expresses it in his music <3
