well im at home right now and about to take a dab of some good crystal.
lights are on low, room is nice and warm, some good music... oh yeah! :)

I've never been to a rave so I can't say I prefer rolling there but it seems fun... my vote went to home.
 
I like rolling at events because MDMA goes really well with EDM + dancing. Rolling at home with friends is also cool tho.
 
Nearly all my pills have been at raves/clubs/festivals. IMO nothing beats a good crowd of people all rolling and enjoying the same music as you. (what ever it is that you are in to) For me its basically anything with good melody and beats. Mostly Breaks, trance or DnB.

I have done it at a couple of house parties. Was fun but not the same.

I have never rolled at my own home, I always imagined it to be a waste I guess? Maybe if I had a big house and invited lots of friends round it would be cool? Although in this day and age where MDMA is still rare I wonder if it would be good to do it at home with some friends as it would save having to put up with drunk pricks at an event.
 
Has to be events, i go bi-weekly to the best place for trance/techno in my city because my friend dj's before all the headliners and I'm really big into my tech-trance (well i love all types of music, even non-dancey types of music) , can't even the describe the feeling when rolling and the dj drops an absolutely bangin beat and you feel the bass beatin off your chest !! :)
 
My vote goes to home. I love a good rave don't get me wrong, but I find that I consistently roll harder when I have a critical music listening session at home. It really comes down to the music for me. (also the audio gear you use)

At home, especially with good headphones (you need to spend decent money on headphones, possibly amplifier and dac for it), you are completely isolated from any other outside noise. It's just you and the music. The sound quality is amazing. You hear every single detail and instrument separation that was originally mastered into the track. This will take your mind many many galaxies far away. It can be very breathtaking.

At raves, there's just too much going on which makes it hard to fully focus on the music. Not to mention all the other ambient noise going on at a rave and so many other things. Hence for me, when I roll at raves its less intense of a roll because my mind is paying attention to so many other things and I can't let myself become completely immersed in the music.

Lots of other reasons too why I prefer home.

I personally would love to roll at a rave, but every time I take some there I get nauseous and freaked out on the come-up, and end up having to leave before I start rolling. When I'm at home or at a party I never get this feeling.

I went to a huge house party in a ginormous old 4 story mansion in a pretty big city.
There were like 5-7 dudes who lived there and threw parties all the time a few years ago.

There was a DJ on every floor, nitrous tanks everywhere, people doing vast amounts of different chemicals in every different room you walked into and hot girls fucking everywhere.

They grew chronic in the attic and none of them worked.
They constantly just partied and sold/did drugs.
Eventually they lost the house.
