Where can I buy 5-HTP

Who in the hell would card someone for buying 5-HTP? It's a perfectly legal supplement just like St. John's Wort. They even have self checkouts at Wal-mart if you're really that paranoid about buying it.

Wal-mart would be the best place to buy it anyway though, they tend to have lower prices on supplements / vitamins.
 
^how many pills/tabs can you get at wal-mart? whats the dose? And how much does it cost?
Because the absolute best deal that I've found is at Costco.
 
is there a big difference between the branded and more expensive ones and cheap ones? i got mine online and it says "5 htp extract 20:1" (providing 100mg 5-htp). thanks.
 
I think that just means theres a filler of some sort...
Check the ingredients on the bottle.
And as far as I know there's no difference between name grand and generic other than the price

thanks. well the ingredients are as I wrote before - that 5htp extract. I just wonder whether extract is as effective as if there were 100mg of htp. Or is it normal to use 5-htp extracts? cheers.
 
AFAIK it's all extracts. But then again I haven't looked at the back of every single bottle of 5htp I've ever bought.

thanks! i gave some to a friend after he did mdma, he did not know what it was good for but today he told me what a big difference it made for him - the depression was much lighter than usual. so hopefully this stuff works :)
 
It definitely does its job.
Just for the record: Preloading on 5htp actually weakens the roll. I don't remember why exactly this happens (I was told before but I forgot) but I know it's somewhere on these boards. If you want to preload, Piracetam is the ideal way to do it.
