Where are you from and how many years young? V. Get to know your Darksiders!

I'm 43 next month and I'm from England. I am not too far from Cambridge where the famous old university is.

I just moved back to Detroit suburbs after 30 hot steamy years in Ft Lauderdale. We need a ghetto smiley :/
Add 20 years to that since I just suffered a birthday too. That's like 90 in Bluelight years you know.

Good timing for an age thread-- I just came back to BL after an extended leave in which I turned 60 in the Andes! It is quite surreal to turn 60 but it helps to do it while hiking everyday. I stayed at a hostel in Peru and have a new goal now for turning 70--I want to go back when the hostel owner opens up the campsites he has on his land out of town--he has hot springs! Now that i am not in the Andes, I am back home in California on the central coast.

LOL! T. Calderone, I had to hit the edit button just to come back on and high five you for the "that's like 90 in Bluelight years" comment. =D

I have to wait til the spring for mine! But I'm not looking forward to 23 lol.

I'm in Kissimmee ;), It's a nice area, the good house prices drew me in. =D

(good thing Kissimmeee is so big it's like saying I live in Delaware. YOU'LL NEVA FIND ME GOVDMENT!)

I've been to Kissimmee but that was when I went to Disney for a week. Oh and living in delaware sucks. Although ocean city md is 2 miles away. Shitty ass tourist town. I lived in Baltimore md till I was 17 tho and moved to de in 2005.

I hate how fast time goes :! I can't stop it!!! Sometimes I would really like to apply some breaks.

Yep Disney is in Kissimmee so we get a lot of tourists. it was always fun talking to people in a store frequented by tourists from around the world.

I lived in NJ (by Asbury Park) 2 minutes from the beach. I really did enjoy NJs beaches, Florida really doesn't have a lot of leniency when it comes to beaches. You need to park in designated areas for the most part (not just pull down someones side street), a lot close at dusk so you can't go after nightfall (in NJ you could for the most part), and they don't allow dogs, within a 10mi radius of my home there were at least 4 separate places you could take your dog off leash to the beach. Also it was easy to find a non tourist infested beach spot that you could just walk and let your dog run and not worry about them walking up to someone tanning. Though, from memorial day to the end of august even the secluded beaches got a little packed. Winter was really the only time you had the beach to yourself in New Jersey. You just had to bundle up really good ;). And NJ beaches had sea glass which was always fun to look for.

This post made me so nostalgic!

I love the ocean and summer and looking for sea shells. Now I'm thinking of bundling up and going for a walk on the beach today =D

^I seriously went through a withdrawal period from the beach where I'd seriously crave it at like 7-9pm when I would normally go when I first moved to Florida. It was awful.

Australia, 28 years of age. I look and act younger than that, I occasionally feel much much older than that.

hehe yeah I look and act younger too. A lot of people tell me I can pass for 24-26 years old =D

I am 23 years old guy and from the suburbs of Detroit. Detroit has been under such cold temperatures that must be hard to adjust coming from Florida. Even the people who lived here there whole life can't adjust to these cold temperatures. Days clean but feeling better each day. Inspiration of the dark side has been beneficial. Glad to be part of it.
