where are the best places to find about about summer festivals?

I'm in Boston and have been out of the scene for a long time but want to get back acquainted with the music, the fun, the people, etc. Advice anyone?

Like a forum 'named' social moving? I know my sign in date suggests i probably know more about the way BL works but I mostly did my own thing or was on bodybuilding forums or underground ones so really dont know the protocol. What I did thus far is create a mini file with the 2 suggestions made in there.

If someone could clue me in on he social moving notion i would be very appreciated!

He means this thread is better suited for the North American Social and Drug Discussion forum, here on bluelight. Glad you're finding what you need though!

Thanks! Not all of us here are 22 and with the hip young scene as part of our everyday lifestyle. Some of us actually have to try to figure out stuff like this lol
 
have you checked out the non-electronic music forum on this board? there's usually a lot of festival talk over there. right now they have threads for bonnaroo and all good on the front page. coachella and most of the other major festivals typically get their own discussion going too. might be worth a look %)
 
www.goatrance.de is amazing as someone already posted, alot of the parties in asheville, nc by Touch samadhi, those people and the full moon gatherings are amazing, plus transformus.com se regional burn, firefly is the ne regional burn, alchemy in georgia, 10 thousand lakes, allgood, electric daisy carnival, camp bisco, corparoo ;p, gathering of the vibes, gathering of the peacemakers, burning man and quite a few more. google any of those names to learn more, oh yeah and the ones i have gone to almost every year since 2000 are Starscape in baltimore, Transformus, Equinox, Camp Bisco and allgood. Hope you make it ;)

yea i have listened to it and didnt like it at all. sorry but the trance genre as a whole doesnt apeal to me at all. this means goa psy epic whatever kinda trance you throw at me i dont dig it. never have prolly never will
 
so what festivals are you cu$tiezzz hitting this summer? As of right now Im hitting Clapton's Crossroads festival, but that isnt the typical rave or typical festival, and its in Chicago so Im not even in the right forum, HA! Anyways, I am driving out there from MD and I recommend anyone from any part of the country hit this up:
