I tried the search engine but couldn't find anything on this, possibly because Im on my phone, anyway, I'm going cold turkey off high doses of diclazepam, my Dr assures me it's safe due to its long half life, what I want to know is when the withdrawals will be at their worst and when they will start to ease,

Assume I have 100mg of it in my system, will the drop from 100mg to 50mg be worse than the drop from 50 to 25mg due to the fact I'm losing a larger amount or will it get worse and worse until I have nothing left in my system?

Any help is greatly appreciated

No this is not necessarily safe, Chlorodiazepam is a very strong analog of valium(diazepam). You must be more specific with details such as amounts of the drug and how long you have had this habit.. And FYI, the withdraw will be the worst when it is entirely out of your system, around day 3 probably for such drug... You must avoid all things that elevate blood pressure... I'd recommend you see a real DR about this my friend.. Be safe... If you want a better answer, please give me the ACTUAL situation. Be well. Stay calm and control your thoughts!

I took benzodiazepines for 9 years (4-6mg of clonazepam a day for the last 6 years) and when I jumped off 10-15mg of clorazepate a day, the hell began ~3 days later but it was still getting worse and worse, I guess the withdrawal peaked after a week or so and the worst part lasted for a month and then started subsiding very slowly.

Assume I have 100mg of it in my system, will the drop from 100mg to 50mg be worse than the drop from 50 to 25mg due to the fact I'm losing a larger amount or will it get worse and worse until I have nothing left in my system?

Seems like you were at some high dose of diclazepam, in that case it's definitely not safe to quit abruptly.
