Not sure if this is relevant in here but with all the attention the war on drugs and debates about legalising, I thought it was interesting.

With people like Anna Woods parents, politicians, the general public and the police demonising drugs constantly whilst the big pharma companies and tobacco companies escape much criticism.

The direct deaths attributed to illegal drugs pale in comparison to this.....

Also amazing when stories like this crop up, and they do more frequently than people realise, no charges are ever laid against those responsible.

That's horrible and disgusting. The article is probably more suited to the ditm forum I would imagine as it's not really focused on Aus at all, but that's up to a mod.

Certainly an eye opener (and jaw dropper), thanks for the info. What a bunch of ^%@$#$%!'s.

It certainly is an eye opener, Its not the first time something like this has happened.

I remember Thalidomide from when I was young, seeing kids with deformed limbs from their mothers taking it for morning sickness

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalidomide

Sickening that the people running these huge firms literally get away with murder and yet someone who sells or uses illicit drugs gets put in jail. Fuck the government and the politicians who take bribes from companies to keep drugs illegal. Politicians are the biggest criminals on this earth

Thats really fucked up, its sad to see profits once again taking precedent over human life.... Unfortunately though AusDD really isn't the forum for this news article and for that reason I am closing this thread.
