When does MUSHY season start in MELBOURNE

Just wondering exactly when people start finding the very first mushrooms of the season because I think I got in late last year (it was sometime in april).

April is pretty early. You really need the 1st good cold rain of May to bring them on. And then you should be able to find them until early July.
