I've been using heroin pretty regularly since November of last year. Back than I'd use one or two balloons of black tar on a weekend, than go days without it. Slowly I started using it more and more often, I'd buy a gram and smoke it over the course of 3 days or so, go 2 days without, buy another gram, I never had any withdrawals. In March my best friend began selling black, and oh man, he was hooking me up every day. I'd pay him when I could, but when I couldn't, free heroin. I can say for the past 3 weeks I've been smoking every day, minimum of 2 b's each day, but going as high as 6 a day.

Well homie got locked up this weekend. I'm cut off. It's my 2nd day sober and so far I haven't felt anything too bad. I'm terrified of when this is gonna begin. I'm shitting a lot, my eyes are watery, but that's about it. No unbearable pain or anything.

So how long have you been doing the stuff recently? How many days in a row until your buddy got slammed in the pen?

Roughly 20 days in a row, minimum of 2 b's every day, but often more. I also only used after work every day. So it'd be one session a day, not spread out over the course of 24 hours.

Its begun. Couple nights (maybe up to 5 if unlucky) of no sleep. More of the same symptoms plus you may get resess legs, cramps. Lower back pain and just oversall sensitivity to knocks that cause pain. Hot n cold sweats. Crawlong skin. There are plenty of withdrawal symptms but youre not nrcessarily going to experience all, maybe very few. use the search engine for further info.

Yeah, it's already happening. It's clearly not very bad though. Day 3-4 is usually the worst for most people, then it starts getting better. Sounds like you lucked out and aren't going to go through a very bad kick.

It'll get much harder in the future though. Trust me.

I agree, it sounds like u aren't gon experience wd too bad. The mental wd might be worse than the physical wd.

Juice - Are u looking to use again when ur dude get out or u tryna stay off that shit?

I ran into a similar situation a little while back. My girlfriend at the time was selling so I had all the dope I wanted for free, so of course my habit was massive, and one day she got arrested and I was fucked. I was so strung out and the withdrawals were brutal even only 24 hours in I couldn't even stand up. I kept using afterwards for a while and ended up having to do a very painful detox.

My advice, especially since you're so lucky your kick isn't bad this time around, is to stop now. It gets so much harder in the future so even when you do want to stop on your own, sometimes you can't. You don't wanna be in that spot.

Damn, prescription opiate wd sounds light compared to heron wd.

Depends on the drug, how much one is taking, and how long. Oxycodone, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, etc, can all be very brutal. Hydrocodone, codeine, and tramadol are weaker opiates and therefore don't have as severe withdrawal symptoms. Though they can still be rough especially if you're on high doses and have been dependent a long time.

i find morphine sulphate withdrawl to be far more agonizing than heroin withdrawl...actuslly i rather withdrawl from heroin rather than suboxone, or OPANA, or OXY, or fentanyl...RX W/D's are way more worse..

You've already started withdrawals. I don't think it'll be very bad for you if you don't have many symptoms yet. Consider yourself lucky. ;)

Yeah ime the first kick is a cakewalk compared to the ones that come later. My first withdrawal seemed bad at the time but in retrospect it wasn't anything awful. But now, 7 years down the line it seems every time I run out of dope it gets worse and worse.

So take that for what it's worth OP and. Kick it while you still can. It sounds like you're already in withdrawal, just not too badly. I know a lot of people that say day 3 is the worst but I don't think you'll get too sick.
