When buying large amounts..

Ok, I dont know many people in my area who sell weed, but there is this one person I have been buying dubs from for the past few weeks with no problems.
The thing is, I met them through a friend and when we meet to make our exchange its always at a gas station.. stupid, i know, but it's their preference.
Also, she always has at least two other people with her and they all look fairly "gangster-ish".

Well the other night while doing business (which last no longer than 2 minutes) I asked if here in a week or two I could get a quarter pound.. she said yes.
I also asked if I could bring a scale since it's quite a bit just to make sure and she said it would be fine..

Now, what I want to ask everyone's advice for is whether or not buying such a large amount from people I barely know is dangerous (i.e. getting robbed).
I know we will have to make better arrangements since I am wanting to weigh it also, but that also means they would have a easier chance to pull a gun or something. They are normally relatively nice, but I dont want to take any chances. The last time I bought a qp was in Texas, but I knew the people really well.

Has anyone ever been in this situation, where you barely know your dealer and you want to buy a large amount but are unsure if it's safe?

I really want a qp so I can make some brownies and still have some more to last me. Not to start selling like most people might think, and put them out of business. I will still be buying from them.

Any comment?

Well, if you're nervous about it, bring a friend or two that has your back. If they wanted to rob you they may think twice if you have friends. Usually it wouldn't be wise to bring strangers to a drug deal but since this chick doesn't mind doing so, you shouldn't either.

I too have been in a similar situation, twice. Once I got robbed and lost a few hundred. The second, the dealer became a good and reliable hook-up that I am quite happy with so go with your gut on it, it may turn out to go well for you but you wouldn't know if you don't do it.

It's okay if your meeting them at the gas station.. cameras, people around and such.. don't go if they make it late at night or are sketchy in ANY way..
bring a friend sure.. a look out or to walk up with you or get in the car.. wherever you will weigh it at..
I would say bring a gun just in case but I don't think you have one. A knife is always handy in any situation. concealed.

don't be nervous and remember if ANYTHING seems sketch then tell them never mind.

There is always a risk involved buying drugs from someone you don't know. I don't see this being productive, and it isn't smart to talk about wanting to buy large quantities on the internet. CD isn't here to talk about buying large amounts of drugs, and I don't see any discussion stemming from this.

Deadhead, you suggest a gun to a qp buy? Is it worth it at that point...?

A qp of weed isn't really that much, I mean it's less than $1000. If a dealer had any brains, they would realize "hey this person has money, and will be a good customer, if I don't blow this I can make a whole lot of $ of off his/her ass" at least that's how I always saw it.

IME the only people that are gonna rob you are people that can't get the product in the first place. If you see it, and weigh it out your chances of being robbed are wayyy lower. Now on the other hand if she wants the money before you see it I would say get the fuck outta there.

Like someone else said if you are nervous either hide the $ until it's all weighed out or bring a friend or two. And jsut because somebody has a gun, doesn't mean they will use it. Not too many people I know are willing to do a bid for murder over a little bit of bud.....Crack on the other hand you could get shot for a G haha
