(Payed for half of all of this, All of it will be here before mid january, damn USPS and waiting games.)

Instead of macbook I use a win 7 laptop...

In the house practicing... my trusty iMac, which is due for a ram upgrade fuck.

Been spinning for almost 5 years now, mostly house and trance and hiphop when i play out at clubs/house parties.

2x SL1200mk2
2x ortofon pro s needles
Serato
Dn-x500 mixer (working on a xone or pioneer soon)
Just broke my Sony MDRv700 headphones so shopping for new ones.

using a B52 matrix 1000 speaker system when i go mobile., 15" sub + 2x 10" sattelites. kicks pretty hard.

selling my cdjs and getting technics turntables was the best thing i've done -_- im emotionally attached to these tables

ugh

past-tense okay?

2x2x2, 4 techs, 2 vestax mixers, 2 shure mics and 2 mcs(1mc often)

it was all DnB with hiphop/reggae breaks in and out for that set up.

for me playing out psy/goa, just 2 techs and a vestax.

oh and stanton/ortofon needles i believe.
i still have those...
:\

yeah, something about technics, try and find a 12% pitch.
i say this, but the originals 1200's, they are seriously tanks, the casing can be falling apart, but that wheel keeps spinning no matter how hard you try and cue, plus the arms are amazing, annnd they stay in tune for ages.
they do have an aura about them, very emotionally attaching.

I don't really care much to DJ, but it got my foot in the door for playing parties. I'm working on a project that will be a Live performance Audio/Video Fully self produced using Ableton Live 8 for the sound and Max/msp/jitter for the Visuals. APC40 as my controller for ableton and the Visuals will be controlled with my MPD24. It's a hell of a project, but its going to be amazing when I finally perform live with it.
