I myself am a former junky and maybe I'm not the most objectionable person but I don't give a shit about being objective I want people to give me there raw opinions!

I went to my brother by Sedona AZ and I couldn't believe all the fucking meth heads coming out of the wood work,it was like day of the dead.I seen so many people with scabbed up faces,missing teeth,stringy fucking burnt up looking hair it was gross.I myself was pretty gross being a smack addict but even though I was a low life thief I never was psychotic. These people are bad when they are sober and worse when they get high,at least when you do your fix of dope you are good but these motherfuckers get crazy once they get their shit.Why would you do a drug that makes you psychotic and do stupid sometimes violent shit.I can see why they all pack guns out there to many methheads.

It must be an out west or backwoods thing,I mean don't get me wrong there is meth here(live in North East U.S) but it isn't as prevalent as to being an epidemic like it is out west.

Dope users become low lifes as well and turn to a life of crime and sometimes violent but I felt everytime I was around one of these tweakers they could go off at the flip of a switch.Almost like going crazy and violent stupidity are what they are looking for.Just my 2 pennys!!!!!!!!!

IMO it depends on the person, their personality and a bit of genetics(addiction centers of brain etc).....
Also set and setting probably play a role...

A junky will steal your shit....a tweaker will steal your shit AND help you look for it
 
Junkiers are whinier and like to feel sorry for themselves more, but tweakers are crazier and love the sound of their own voices, so I'm not sure who's worse...

You are absolutely correct about the whinning I still am a bit of a whining crybaby,I don't know if being a complainer makes you predisposed to being a junky but we are the biggest crybabys out there.Shoulda seen me when I was withdrawaling!

Touche!!! I'm far from reformed still smoke weed,prescription pks(take as prescribed have no choice wife locks them up). I still have addict tendencies,guess they will never leave.

I am with you; dope fiends are way better off than meth heads; although, the meth heads get a cheaper drug that is being made in their backyard and our dope is coming from other countries.

I've been a dope fiend; ive been a MINI meth head where I would do it 4 out of 7 days a week for the "club scene" in NY; we'd pick up meth on a Thursday and run till Monday/Tuesday w/o a bit of sleep; we just keep SNIFFING ONLY and we'd party hard for 72 hours straight w/o a problem. come that last hour, I'd look at the girls who were HOT on Thursday and now they scare the shit out of me; I am also hallucinating and thinking others are looking or talking about me.

w/ dope, man, life is just a breeze, right? no problems, worries, etc. life is just easy, lol

so yea, dope.
 
Well, IMO, depends on the person. BUT, I live in a backwoods rurarl area, not so much heroin, but Pharms ranging from Tramadol to Fent Patches...but no heroin??lol. Now meth is everywhere. The ones on it bad look horribble smell horrible, look psycho, act psycho(coming from personal experience, tweakers who tweak all the time are fuckin crazy, now not ALL, but the majority of them are...no sleep or food for a week can do that I guese.. so I'm gonna go with Tweakers....their lives are usually waaay more chaotic/crazy than opiate addicts who just wanna get their fix and chill. Tweakers smoke/shoot/snort whatever in a group most the time, paranoia/psychosis comes...bad shit can happen... But their are okay's in each group, know some(well one) that uses just for work and seems to make it alright..
 
man, we'd get hotel rooms and I'd be tweaking and staying in the bathroom by myself thinking all 15 people in our room are talking about me and saying "sheee, BBT is in the bathroom yada yada yada" and I would be shocked and stay in there for half hour to an hour; who knows, I was fucking tweaking man and would just hate it. I seriously used just to stay up because I would always mix E, K, G and whatever else was around, lol. I was just in a major party scene and things would get weird.

with the dope, well, I gave away most of my life for it, but the high was much more chill and calm than tweakers.

btw, I am NOT SAYING TO SWITCH TO HEROIN, both are TERRIBLE and WILL KILL YOU eventually, so be careful.
 
Glad your still with us man after mixing all those party drugs BBT... But ya, shit can get bad with groups of tweakers and all the paranoia..and as he said neither ends well so just stay clear of both....one ends with ya going psycotic or dead because you were around someone in deep psychosis maybe...other ends with ya on maintaince or in a grave. They need to have some kinda maintaince for people who can't stop meth.... Heard Gabapentin could be used with meth addiction...or go to a clinic everyday to get a functional dose of Vynasse or something, I dunno....
 
A meth habit definitely affects your life faster than a heroin habit I think, just because meth throws your whole weekly schedule off in such a big way because you're awake all the time (assuming that you re-dose, as most users do I imagine), plus the appetite suppression is brutal. I could see why it was used as an effective weight loss aid back in the day.

those were my younger years, 18-22, then I got arrested for distribuation of oxy. it kinda saved my lives in many ways because I was living in NY and had plans to go back and they grabbed me a week before I took back off to NY to live; of course they knew the whole time because it was a setup.. crazy story, but yeah.

however, w/ that jail time, rehab time, all types of shit, I ended up becoming more and more of a dope fiend. like many, I used to do oxy's when they were around and I was selling; 80MG pills I'd sniff a 20 and then another 20 that afternoon, etc. it all added up. but by the time I was locked up I was more addicted to GHB than pain killers.

on the inside I met a ton of pain killer/heroin junkies and I met some of those people on the outside after. well, the life kinda went downhill from there but I never sold or did anything, just bought and bought and bought and bought; I went fucking broke! it sucks, but I am on the rebound now thanks to suboxone; been doing great so far. this is my 2nd time actually TRYING TO GET SOBER while taking suboxone as opposed to when I would take it just cuz I couldnt afford a gram that day.

either way, life is crazy, man.. just stay away from drugs, lol I lived both lives and neither were fun (thinking of them now; at the time I thought it was sick enough for fun) and both had ruined my life; I actually have a BRAIN TUMOR in the left frontal lobe of the brain; they do not blame it on the drugs, nor do they have any idea why, but it just so happens, so the who the fuck knows. its just whacky to think of the drugs I've done and the life I lived.. fucking sick, man!

usually people get addicted to one thing but yet I was addicted to them all.. but cocaine was never really my drug, surprising, lol. same goes for alcohol, even tho I have 2 DUI's somehow; one having to do w/ a seizure behind the wheel.

crazy life, man. STOP USING IT ALL! lol
 
Ya, I'm on Subs and benzo's(but the benzo's are unprescribed unfourtaneley) so there are times I'm out and my anxiety is 100 times worse(like I can't even make myself eat sometimes,I'll be starvin,but can't eat) but ya, just stay away from drug indeed. For the first time in a long time I don't even have an urge to use any opiates besides my Sub right now...payed somebodys bill with this guy so I would have a hookup with him just in case,ya know... but then went so she could go score some roxis...I just wanted outta there, just a buncha trashy junkies(no offense using the term junky, cuz I kinda am one) beggin this dude who thinks he has all the power because he has the pills, and of course charges the most ya can for a roxi. BS, glad I'm away from it, wanna stay away from it. Only thing is I gotta deal with them for my nerve pills,ughh. But cutting back on those this month also...gnna be a long month. Again. But for the first time in 10 years I wanna put my money towards something good, besides just up my nose or my my arm...Drugs are bad,mmmmmkaaaayy
 
Its funny there are a couple of posts on here that remind me of an old saying " you throw a rock into a pack of dogs and one yelps it means you got one" well I guess I got a couple huh? You meth heads and your paranoia give you away,as someone else said you like to hear your own voice(must also like to read your own words).


Look I've huffed fucking freeon in my glory days so I'm not stating I'm better then anyone but am stating a fact when we are using hard drugs whether it's coke,heroin,benzos, or meth most become degenerates and low lifes.Not to many saints are booting drugs I guess some are more sensitive to there weaknesses. Shit if I had the willpower Id shoot dope every weekend,I loved it. I'm not saying addicts are bad people but once they(the majority) are possessed by their DOC they are (I was) monsters.It's not a secret we aren't usually good people while we use these hard drugs(selfish and self centered) and if the truth hurts fuck you,hurt!

It's more down to how said user handles their drugs I'd have thought. I know junkies who wouldn't steal, I know speed freaks who sleep every night. It's down to use patterns and what the person is like before the drugs.
