What's with the Vick's?

How does having threesomes make me an irresponisble parent? The one 3some I've had in the last 10 years was with my wife and a friend of ours', we were all on E having a good time, it wasn't planned, it just happened, and our son was at my parent's house for the night. So, where am I being irresponsible? I hate people who don't have any kids (and I'm making an assumption about youm MDMA desciple, nice spelling by the way) who go on about the correct way to raise kids. When people become parents, they don't lose all of their desires and become Ozzie and Harriet. Sure,we don't go out much and I can't remember the last movie we saw in a theater that didn't have a talking animal in it, but we still like to have fun. None of our experiences have EVER affected our son'd life, we NEVER do anything aside from a glass of wine at dinner when he's around. So, save your self-righteous judgement, dude or dudette. I've heard it before and you have no idea what you're talking about.

hmmm... well, to take this back to it's original intention... i must also share my personal love for vicks products!! by far the best thing to get ahold of is a vicks inhaler and than launch yourself into seabreeze heaven
smile.gif
the best way to go about it is to be extremely gentle (not all this rough, shaking nonsense that i've recently expirienced at numerous parties) done right, the seabreeze can be an amazingly pleasurable, sensual thing
smile.gif

sit face to face with the person recieving the seabreeze and gently start rubbing their temples. as you do this, begin to blow air through the inhaler and lightly direct it in their eyes. continue massaging their face as you trace patterns with the stream of vicks encircling their head, making sure not to forget about the ears, temples, and of course... blow some into their mouth as well. periodically return to their eyes, but just don't blow too much too hard. also while your doing this, make sure to massage along the bone that forms the bottom of the eye socket (starting at the top center of the bridge of the nose, and moving down and outward in a semi circle directly under the eyes very slowly) the forehead and brow bone area is also particularly soothing as is massaging the jaw area which will already be tight and sensitive from the e. gently tapper off the stream of vicks as you continue to massage the person's face for another minute or 2. when you're done they will be in pure bliss

Semichrist,
I'm a 32yr old elect. tech and my wifes a 30yr old teacher. Vicks is very cool. I love visual stimuli so I've got my living room set up like a club w/strobes, black lights, and a kickin stereo. Try glow in the dark body paint under a black light applied with either a soft brush or fingers, very fun. We also love to just spin, you know like when you were little, round and round until you hit your ass. Giggles for hours.
p.s.
I get my 3some this weekend

Ha. Older people who do drugs is pretty hilarious. You know, it's along the lines of hearing your grade school teacher curse under their breath, or seeing an German-shepard drive a car. It's the cheap laughs that people get from situations that make us say, "Hey, you're not supposed to do that!".
I have to respect the parents who really are responsable with their kids and drugs. It really is hard to drop all the habits yu picked up in your lifetime. A part of me says do what ever the hell you want to as long as you do it responsably.
But an even larger part of me says that everyone has to grow up sometime. I actually don't want to tell people how to live their lives, but the more times you roll, the greater the chances are that your kid(s) will find out. And what the hell are you going to tell them when they ask why mommy doesn't want to get off of the floor? Also, kids pry and get into everything. That's just a weird fact of nature; just like there's never toilet paper right after you've had mexican food.
How horrible would it be to witness your child rolling off his ass. He/She could really get hurt--their brains can not handle these drugs as well as ours.
OK, you've had your fun, please set the example and grow up. Stick to smoking pot or something. Sorry, that's my $.02.
in case of fire stop drop and roll
TT

Hey ACD, I respect your opinion and can understand your concern about kids finding out. But it's not like we leave pills lying around the house. Let me clarify; we've rolled a total of 5 or 6 times in the last year. Each time, we'd get 3 pills and do 1 1/2 each, so they were gone pretty much as soon as we got them.
Also, we do it when our son spends the night at my parents' house, which he does once a month. So it's not like he's gonna wake up and find us rolling around the floor.
Would you say the same thing about parents who skydive or ski or go dirt biking or any other more dangerous activity? Also, what's the difference between smoking weed after he goes to bed? Hell, we don't even do that.
What's funny is that kids never know just what their parents are up to. I'm sure my parents did, and still do, some freaky little secret thing that I don't wanna know about.
And doing E isn't a "habit we can't give up." We never even did it together before this year. It was something we tried for 2 reasons: 1) we were having some major problems between us and had heard from some friends that E can really help you open up to each other; and 2) it's frickin' fun. So we tried it and it really did help us open up.
I don't know, I don't really feel the need to justify myself to anonymous people, and the only reason I came to this site was for some more info on E. I saw the board and thought I'd see if there were others like my wife and I, but apparently there are not, at least not here.
One final thing. The whole reason Shulgin, who had kids by the way, began all his research on E was because he believed it could be a useful therapy tool. Now, would you say to him that he was being irresponsible? Hell, if he took the advice of most of the people on this thread, then all you happy ravers would've been madly popping acid or something else because you never would have heard of MDMA.

MDMADesciple--don't be so judgemental. Damn, talk about role reversal. Every kid on here resents their parents telling them what to do and not to do, now we have the reverse. I'm a 34 y.o. corporate roller. Been rolling since Mardi Gras 1999. I love it. You are wise to only roll every couple of months. This will keep it special and you wont build a tolerance. Some other fun things to do:
1) Get some photon lights (little keyring LED's). You can find them at Hot Topic, and army surplus places. Giving light shows when you're rolling in the dark is the bomb. Just play with them and spin them in circles, etc. It helps to have dance music going for this.
2) Vicks inhalers blown in your face. Called a seabreeze. Blow into the bottom (where the knurling is) out through the center hole you normally inhale through.
3) Full body massages. One of those plug-in massagers is great for this.
4) Luminglass, strobe lights, or any other fun light you can buy at Spencers are fun.
5) Use any essential oil like lemongrass, camphor, or sandalwood to inhale or heat in vaporizers. The smell is incredible.
6) Eat foods with a smooth texture or strong sour or sweet flavor. Examples: pudding, yogurt, sour candy, sour gum. You'll think its the first time you've had them.
That's enough for now. Enjoy.
p.s. a word about poppers: Be very careful as your blood pressure will drop and you could pass out. Also, you can NOT use poppers on Viagra. Can kill you.
Peace

Semichrist you can roll all you want. I didnt say it was irresponsible for you to do that. But, your children will base all of their adult relationships on the one you have with your wife. Why don't you settle down? You're right to assume that I don't have kids, and that's because I'm mature enough to realize that I'm not ready to handle that kind of responsiblity. Perhaps psychology - as a profesion - could be eliminated entirely if everyone knew so much about themselves.
It's fine to be a crackhead but there's no reason to fuck up your kids. Jackass
desciple (im not gonna bother to explain this spelling again. if it's such a big deal to anyone, do a search.)

Ug, I still don't see how rolling once every few months while my son is at my parents for the night is gonna "fuck up my kid."
As for settling down, I am! I'm married, my wife and I have a good relationship, we had troubles last year, but hey, so do most couples at some point. If you're referring to the 3some as proof of my not settling down, then I just don't see it. It was a totally natural experience that came about unplanned and it's probably not going to happen again, although I certainly wouldn't be against it. Obviously my son knows nothing about it. He doesn't even know about sex! So how could that affect him adversely if it doesn't affect my wife and I adversely? You're entitled to your opinion, but your tone was pretty damn self righteous, as much as a tone of voice can come across over the internet. I just find it rather narrow minded that you can espouse a liberal lifestyle but then rail against mine just because I'm a parent. I guess we disagree.
And yeah, the crack about the spelling was unnecessary, I hate when people do that as an argument tool. You just hit a nerve and, you know, you still are.

Man...I love rolling, only do it like at most 1 time every month and a half. All I know is that when I do have kids (i'm only 21 now), i'm not ever gonna roll. That's just retarded if u ask me.

semichrist, i try not to be judgemental most of the time. and i dont think there's anything wrong with rolling or threesomes. but the world of illicit drugs and multiple-partner sex is something most people leave at the door when they have a kid. but before I go off on some kind of rant, I'll level with you:
1 - I'm an atheist now, but I was raised roman catholic and (at 21 yrs of age) that programming is just kind of hard to beat. when i hear "3some" and "parent," something just clicks on in my head and I feel the need to preach.
2 - My father was a cokehead who abandoned me and my mother.
I think maybe I was a bit quick to judge so I apologize. I just get affraid sometimes that when I settle down and have kids (and I will) I'll fuck things up for them like they were fucked up for me.

My husband and I are and our friends and "older" I suppose. We are both 30ish and have been rolling for about a year. We go to clubs to party so we usually have to use an inhaler if we want vicks. It's pretty cool, but not that much better than massages. We prefer group hugs. I hope the "younger" people on here don't think that all "older" people eventually get into threesomes when they roll. We usually party with the same couple and it has never even been montioned. Also, original_tranceaholic-you are an ass.

Semichrist -
As a fellow 30-something roller, let me commend you and say fuck off to the critics. Being the same crazy kids you and your wife were before marriage and staying true to yourselves is a very healthy way to live and a great example for your children. Nice job! Keep on keepin on!

desciple,
That's cool, I can understand how you would be skittish on the kind of behavior we're talking about. My parents are Ozzie and Harriet incarnate, which could be a big reason why I live an unconventional lifestyle, but my wife's family is a little screwy in the same way yours seems to be. She is always on guard about what we're doing and how it could affect our son for that reason. Her childhood was pretty fucked and she doesn't want the same thing to happen to our son, so I think we make a pretty good couple, always checking and balancing each other out. Anyway, thanks to all the older and younger people for responding. Nice to know I'm not the only freaky thirtysomething out there.

Tranceholic exactly what is the problem with using drugs in a responsible manner? I know many alcoholic parents that do far more damage to their kids than those who take E a couple times a year. Considering that E is illegal and is usually done discretely. I'm happy that everyone can enjoy the benefits of E, young and old. My father has recently been asking me about E, and I think it has the potential to be the ultimate bounding experience. Sorry for the rant, his comment set me off.

semichrist, I'm 31. I have a great career, and a fantastic relationship with my boyfriend. I support the responsible use of e amongst my age group, because it has gotten me through some stuff, boy.... Rolling once was like getting 10 good years of therapy in one night. so much baggage is just GONE. I am much more in touch with my fellow humans, especially when I'm NOT high. I don't have a big chip on my shoulder any more. I could have never thought that i would be able to love another person enough to have kids, but after my little shift of emotion, a couple years ago, I truely feel free to give and receive love to the people who deserve it.

i would like to add, in your defense, semichrist, that when I was in my early 20s, i was very holier than thou, and probablly would not have considered rolling if i had kids, but... You also need to consider that if i HAD kids, in my early 20s, I would have been a TERRIBLE PARENT!!!! I needed to have this time, in order to learn what life really was (at least, what it is to me) and, I needed to understand what was really behind all that 'horrible parent' stuff that I hated as a child, in order to 1-keep from repeating it, or 2-improve upon it, in the attempt to evoke a more desirable effect for MY -someday- children.
My point being that you may want to take some of the responses with a grain of salt. I wouldn't put too much value on MARRIAGE advice from a virgin priest/nun... and I certainly wouldn't be too stoked about parenting advice from someone who is still stuck between child/adult, and not yet a parent themselves.
--Hope that I didn't offend many of you. It really wasn't my intent.

When in HELL did this board become the national forum for DFS. Semi, no one has the right to parent your children except you; the parent. Not to be offensive here, but I don't give a damn about anyone else's kids. As an adult, you have rights that children do not have simply because they do not have fully developed mental or emotional capabilities and need parental guidance to help foster those traits. If we all had a thousand set of parents and opinions on how we should be raised, we'd all be pretty confused. You have the right to roll just as some parents have the right to drink themselves into disease and death or smoke cigarettes and develop a host of lovely life-threatening diseases while endangering those around them in the process.
In short, let's keep this board and it's topics stick to the subject matter that is really important to the rest of us; E!
I am a 29 year old, corporately employed female and am surprised and shocked at how narrow minded the comments from the younger people are on here. This is the group that us "old" folk look to to give us hope that stereotypes, inferences and assumptions into other's lives will someday not be a regular facet of our society!
Get yo' self some PLUR; for real!

i am 32 and and make good money, will own my own restaraunt franchise. my wife and i roll about every 3-4 weeks. we do it responsibly and take our supplements to keep our seratonin and minds in gear. we work out regularly at golds gyme and are both in very good physical shape. My wife has gone back to school and will get her CPA in about2 more years. If you research and use in moderation, you will be just fine. As for the vics, we love it .
