My best mate use to always hear me ramble on and on about how great pure MDMA is. Although he was curiouse, he never asked me too try it with him. But, the other day he saw a handfull of pokieballs and asked if he was old enough to try MDMA. He's 15, and turnIng 16 in 2 months. I know that once he tries pills once, he's gonna wanna try it again. He knows this aswell, since hes seen me struggle to not take e often. He know how drugs can try to pull you into their grasPs, as he's tried weed, opiates, booze, n2o, and other calmer drugs. I know if he tries pills he
Won't abuse them, and will only roll a few times a year max, like 2-4 times per year max. So I was wondering if 16 is too young for MDMA. I agree that it was too young for mE because I ended up
Rolling once a month for a year and ended up quitting for monthes to years to get most of my magic back.
Would it be fine for my friend to roll once he's 16? Or should he wait longer?

Why not just let the little guy hold off?

Your really gonna be the guy that gets a young gun all into X and shit? Give the kid some fucking mushrooms and a tennis racket

Yup, I'm assuming it will be alright. Just wanted to check with some other MDMA enthusiasts(whatever that truly means). I'm still gonna try to hold him Off atleast until he's 17. Because I've noticed the longer I live, the more I realize how my choices shape my future. And I'd like him to get a good sense of that aswell if he doesn't have that already. I realize that my life has all been mostly my fault for the way it was going. And I want him to not
Make the decisions I made when I was his age (teenage opiate junkie)

^sounds like a good plan.

Seriously though if he wants to try a new drug because he's all curious and young,
Try and inform him on mushies and let him give that a go.
All ecstasy has ever really done for me is cause pain and longing,
But mushrooms give you a sense of the world, and after you do them you tend to stay away from them for at least a couple months. You could call me a shroom advocate

I am having a hard time getting him tO hold off since I remember what MDMA did for me when I was his age. MDMA saved my life, and mushrooms helped me be the man I am today. But I will try to get him to wait awile

You can't predict how he will react until he tries it. Maybe he will want to do it every week, or maybe not. Not everybody overdoes MDMA after trying it for the first time.

A person's level of maturity is as important as their age, IMO. 15, 16, 17...it's arbitrary to choose one of these numbers as the appropriate time to start using MDMA. I would think that the longer somebody waits, the more mature they will be and hopefully better able to use it in a way that doesn't cause problems.

I started when I was 15 and never used it more then once a month in my youth, mostly because I only used and bought it at raves (early 90's) and it was hard for me to get more then one rave a month past my parents. In those days I was very concerned about the issues with neurotoxicity and permanent damage, that I understand much clearer now, but the fear kept me in line with my self imposed six times per year limit.

He's not going to only roll 1-2x a year. He's going to abuse it until the magic's gone, then come on here asking why it's gone, then realize he needs to take breaks in order to keep the 'magic'. Same thing every kid does...

It's a good thing you can predict the future, next time I have a question I'll just go straight to you.:|

I have no Idea what would happen if I roll with him, I beter just leave it alone and go find some drug proven less neurotoxic To indulge in.

Fuck that man. Rolling with a 15 year old kid? That shit would nag at my conscience all night knowing I was starting some kid on the same treacherous path I walked as a youngster. If you don't have peers your own age to sell to don't sell at all....

Do I come off as a dealer, my last intention would be to make money off of a friend from MDMA. I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice about appropriate ages to roll. well I sorta got somewhat of an answer, but since I can't get a solid answer as to wether or not a person could roll when their 16 I'll just leave the matter alone.

That is wise. I was given a pure pill of molly at a very young age, the fact that the experience resulted in no negative effects and was so enjoyable made me much more open to taking all kinds of other drugs making me the youngest poly drug abuser in my area. Needless to say subsequent drug experiences did not pass without consequence.

And yes for some reason I thought you were posting this asking if you should sell to a young kid.

So where someone.in.the world plays a.role in potential neurotoxcity?
get real yo

i think it would be fine if you are confident he won't abuse it. all in all near 16 isn't that bad, considering he's done all that other stuff and isn't addicted.

too young is, i went to a rave a while ago and saw a few 12 year olds all fucked up on caps, gnawing their faces off, it was fucked

There aren't hard and fast answers to what ages people should and shouldn't be introduced to drugs. In fact, age has nothing to do with it. Why do we have this idea that the best measure of a person is their date of manufacture? I have met 16 year olds with the maturity of a 40 year old, and vise versa. You know the kid, I presume, pretty well, which makes you the best person to make this call.

If you believe him to be mature enough to practice self-restraint and moderation, and to have enough self awareness to recognise in himself the signs of abuse before they become problems (rather than withdrawing into denial), then educate him as much as you can. Find out about neurotoxicity, read scientific journals, clue him up to the max so he understands exactly what will happen when the chemical hits him. If he is still curious, then you can let him try it.

As Oscar Wilde said, the only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.
