Mine came from being far too gone at Welcome 2001 down at the Docks in Melbourne. Me and Focus were sitting outside in awe of the lights coming from the city when I started talking to this girl sitting next to me. Anyway, I had to ask her her name every 10 mins cause I kept forgeting 
but as it turned out, her name began with a D as did mine and focus's so we decided just to use that letter. So we wouldn't get confused, she became D3, focus became D2 and, well, I became D1!
