What's the best and worst alcoholic beverage you've ever had?

Best = Jamiesons Irish Whiskey

worst = thunderbird

To be honest it was a bit of a toss up for me between Belvedere and Jameson's. But if I was just rating whiskey then it would probably be Jameson's. I've also had Glennfidich but it was so long ago I would have to have it again to rate it.

best: st. ides, steel reserve
worst: any of that fruity 12% alcohol bullshit (four loko, tilt, joose, colt 45 blast) the extra sugar fucks up the drunk.
and no, i am not 14, i've been drinking for 10+ years, i actually enjoy hg 40s the best.

++ the Jameson: that was the only whiskey i could stomach - forgot about that stuff hehe

personally i would go for the cognac though, and it seems most people prefer either one or the other as i do. ' whiskey vs cognac ' would be interesting, but im sure whiskey would sweep a competition of popularity like that...

i want a bubbly white merlot, syrah, or a torrentes with big bubbles.

Crater Lake vodka is absolutely amazing, if you like vodka...reminded me of cold minty stainless steel.

Best: beer- liningugal Summer Shandy and liquor- Southern comfort and dr pepper ( im sure ive had a better tasting drink but this is just my overall simple fave combo). Jack and coke is a close second.

Worst: I cant really say any beer is bad honestly ha when i think worst liquor that sapphire gin shit comes to mind.

oh my god guys i went on another bender ,stupid fuck i am ,liver hurts ,stomach swollen ...blood in vomit .....anyway

when i used to be able to drink responsible ,i loved WHITE ale beer,sam adams white ale ,blue moon

for some reason i remember gordons vodca went down REALLY FUCKING smooth for me too smooth

worst is what im stuck trying to down right now ,o reileys fucking white choco ,13% alco

Best: I love Sam Adams winter ale - that stuff tastes like Christmas. And Newscastle is also a favorite of mine. As far as liquor goes, Jameson is the best that I've had - I'm a big whiskey fan, and Jameson is fantastic. Although when I feel like being a stereotype, I'm a sucker for a good Appletini.

Worst: Keystone is the most vile beer I've had the displeasure of drinking. And let's not even get started on Keystone light. But cheap vodka has to be the worst. And I have very unpleasant memories of a frat party where they were serving "jungle juice" the color of dish soap made with Bacardi 151. Terrible decisions.

OMG bacardi dark!!!?

i will admit to trying my aunts bf's?? if thats what he was home made wine,that had been in an underground celar for like 4 years ...smelled like GRAIN ,tasted well i cant even remember...man o man

gordons is really good, always stole that from my parents when I was in high school. although seagrams extra smooth is definitely the best decent priced vodka out there

can u describe just what make liqour better with age sombody ,never had really old scotch ,just the homemade wine that was 4 years old and god that wasnt good

how would a fresh batch of whisky taste to the 150yo ,elaborate as best as possble please

Honestly i couldnt give you specifics, but it seemed to go down much smoother, yeah it burned but just something about it, sry im not specific, im not a liquor connoisseur.

it depends how long the whiskey is actually aged. 50 years is the upper limit for how long whiskey is left in the barrel (after that point, unwanted tannins start to leach out of the wood). once it's bottled, it doesn't really change any more, so an 8 year old whiskey from 1950 would be about the same as an 8 year old whiskey bought today.

an older whiskey tends to be a little mellower and smoother, with more complex flavors. it really depends a lot on the barrel, the whiskey and the particular batch though, as older isn't necessarily better.
