I heard of a drug that gives you an outer body experiencing and the guy that took it lived his life out for what felt like months. He was only unconscious for a few minutes.

He had met a wife and had a home and basically time was slow for him so it felt like he'd taken ages.

What's it called?

could be dmt or salvia perhaps

Are you talking about ari Shaffir? It was Salvia, and his wife and family lived underwater lol

For me I get awesome psychedelic dreams from trazadone, although I hear from others they hate it

With regard to dreams when actually asleep, no drug seems to stimulate them for me. Removing cannabis consumption for 24 hour or so does though (in many regular smokers) - no smoke then I'm guaranteed a night of vivid dreams

for me nicotine patches worn overnight give incredibly vivid dreams, so much so that I've thought they were real upon waking in the middle of one

it may be reduced with multiple nights wearing the parch but I'm not sure

surprises me, wonder why that could be when it wasn't the case when you were consuming it via smoking? Am guessing it's due to 'consuming' the drug while you are asleep, which ofc is impossible via the smoking ROA

I had horrific dreams when I accidentally kept a patch on throughout the night.
Always woke up sweaty and panicking hard. Terrible.

yea the dreams were always crazy, weird, and terrifying. it literally felt like i wasnt even dreaming and i was just remembering an experience that just happened when i woke up. never want to experience that again lol

yea I think it is so maybe a tolerance develops, even hitting the vape in the middle of the night and going back to sleep doesn't do it probably because the level drops off before waking

I was warned many times to never sleep with a patch on. Sweating with the patch on tends to basically overdose you with nicotine, from what I remember. I had forgotten all about that til now. Rough nights 😬😅

When I quit smoking I took the patch off before bed. I mean I didn't smoke in my sleep, didn't need elevated nicotine levels. Then in the morning poor a cup of coffee and slap on a patch and feel them both start working. In fact a few times I went into the bathroom, rolled up my sleeve and slapped on the patch. lol Once a junkie....

Gabapentin can give me some dreams.

I don't know about "out of body experiences" but amanita gives me absolutely wild lucid dreams.

Else if you smoke weed every day, stopping suddenly always gives me wild, vivid dreams. Not so much the drug causing the dreams but the lack of it though.

Melatonin gives the wildest dreams. Most drugs inhibit rem sleep or shorten it worsening dreams.

Some like alcohol allow for a “rem rebound “ which can be useful for dreaming

A drug with a massive effect on dream s: Levetiracetam.

For its intended reason, as anti-epileptic i think this is a last resort med.
For the mere fact it is last resort, and it didn t stop seizures like Valproic Acid ⚠️

The side effects list a.o., and ime are:
-Suididal Tendency s
-Daytime Agitation [Kepprage]
-Insomnia. Useless for dreaming.
-Nightmares
-Lucid-Dreaming

The 1-st 3 are more a warning not to toy with this med, its a monster.
But the 2 last, combined were absurd, i know lucid dreaming.
This was full Lucid nightmares. Could do/ say anything but fly.

So maybe a non epileptic or bipolar, could take it for the side effect s.
But i would disadvise it as its such a shitty med. Whatever it does ?
But it has 'don t take me' written allover. Morning, lovely rainy day.
