Spending my teen years in Northern Alberta gave me an idea of what the drug scene is out there in the somewhat isolated prairie communities - the vibe, the kinds of drugs, and who runs the distribution etc.
Though Alberta and the rest of western Canada (not incl. pacific seaboard) is traditionally presented as culturally conservative, it has more of a libertarian wild-west position that keeps a relative tolerance for pretty much an sort of lifestyle. I am curious if the same could be said for the mid-western states closer to the interior - the places that nobody talks about like Fargo, ND; or North Plate, NE; where the real wild wild west was.
