What's in my Meth/What's it cut with?!

Alright,me n my girl got a batch of ice the other day off a dude who isn't our regular. We either smoke or snort it, but the first time we smoked it a certain little oblong piece of ice turned white and puffed up.... Reminded me of popcorn. I showed my girl and she just figured I picked something off the floor and it made its way into my pipe... But no. I looked in our bag and in the shake of the bag were dozens of tiny oblong pieces of what looked like ice.... I tasted it figuring it was going to be salt but they had almost no taste to a minute spicy flavor. I broke out my Macro Lens for my iPhone to get a closer look and they look like meth but are a little cloudier.
I've found dozens of these things in the bag, I mean, I have heard of all kinds of cuttings agents and people put all sorts of things to make the product weight out. But does anyone know what this is? Is it just something I've never noticed before? Something beneficial? Something that's gonna kill me? (LOL) Just wondering if I should keep these pellets in my shit, get rid of them, snort them... Pics are attached, thanks for the help guys!
