for general forum participants, we only have two tiers: greenlighter and bluelighter.
greenlighters are new members with fewer than 50 posts. they are unable to post in the lounge and their ability to send private messages is restricted.

Umm, I know if you donate you can change your username, but that's all I know.
you did not read that anywhere on bluelight.
we offer people who donate to the site a name change as a thankyou: a 'thank you' perk for donators - account name change
