What you munching on .v. Ramping up the protein

Salt & Vinegar squares. Not enough in a packet. Was going to buy a family sized bag of sea salt and cider vinegar crisps but I end up eating a whole bag in one go.
 
eaten nothing since a bowl of cornflakes this morning. make up for eating so much yesterday. mini oreos are the tits
 
Italian style stew. Just your basic stew, beef, carrots, shallots, pancetta, bit of potato. Beef stock, red wine, bay leaf and some rosemary for the flavourings. Lovely :)
 
I was just randomly posting what I was eating. Do you want the recipe? Super simple.

Chop the beef (recipe says 400g rump steak, it's pretty quick) into 2cm cubes, into a bowl, dust with flour.
Couple of spoons of olive oil, brown in the pan then remove.
200g of shallots/baby onions + 50g of chopped pancetta into the pan, cook for 5 minutes.
Add 1 carrot (finely chopped) and 150g mushrooms and 2 chopped garlic cloves, cook 5 minutes.
Add 150ml red wine, bring to boil.
Put the beef back in, add 1 tablespoon tomato paste (I had to use tomato sauce, it worked ok)
Add 400 ml beef stock a bit at a time, mixing it in to make a sauce, bring to the boil.
Into a casserole dish with a few springs rosemary and a bay leaf.
25 minutes in the oven at 200, the last 5 minutes with the lid off.
Season, rest for 10m and serve.

just cook it much longer on a lower heat Mugz as you have braising steak...
 
BBQ chicken, ham, spring onion and cheese toasty with garlic mayonnaise, fuckin well good :)

I'm eating the peeled part of the carrots I peeled and about to start on the half a carrot I peeled but didn't put in the stew.

So were you eating carrot peel? I know I'm stoned but this is confusing me :)

If I want to eat tonight I'm going to have to brave the rain and get to the shop, its not often cupboards are truly bare but not even cereal :sus:
 
Mines smelling lovely actually, looks nice, am I meant to taste it often? We have just turned the hob off for a while and will heat it up some more when it's nearer time to eat.

No dumplings for us tonight, just some nice crusty bread I think :)
 
I can picture it now.. Stew has been cancelled, The drugs bought for his mate have been consumed, theres pizza in the wardrobe and mugz is talking to imaginary people =D

EDIT - just ninja'd by mugz at the last second :D
